I think my core i3-2100(running with stock cooler) temperature isn't right. In BIOS it shows as 65°C and in Windows (XP SP3) when doing light tasks (processor usage < 10%) the temperature is ~55°C but when I run games for hours the temperature hits ~85°C! (as shown by 'Speccy')
And the CPU fan speed shown in BIOS is ~3000RPM and in Speccy it shows as 46RPM!!! :S
I was using the built-in Intel HD Graphics before but now I'm running an external GPU, so I think the processor isn't involved in the graphics anymore. And I never OC'd my CPU.
Are the temperatures alright?? What should I do?
Any sort of help is appreciated. Thanks you.
