Smile's speed in Silver package

i m having prob with my internet connection. i m using Smile's Silver one :s . before that, i used bronze. that was quite satisfiable. i got 48kB @ day & 16kB @ night . but now i m getting the same, even its worst than before :o . i get always 16kB & some times 32kB :mad: .


so guys, i want some feed back from ya

AFAIK, Bronze --> Silver doesn't give you much of a speed boost! It just gives you more options, and opens ports and P2P!

Hey, that is extremely good speed for such a low price. I am planning to take smile's silver package. But people told me that the speed is really bad. And by the way, is that speed, 48kbps, is it 48 KB/s or kbps? Because 48 kbps, actually means 6KB/s.

nope dude :s , u r wrong :blush: . maximum time i cant dl from torrents, often i can dl from torrent with a very poor speed . btw, thanx for the reply

how much u used to pay for bronze and how much u r paying for silver?

dont know about torrents but my friend shiny gets 30-60 KBPS in his Silver Package you can find him in my server @ nickname --> iShiny or something kebab related most of the time ;d

i dont have installed CS:S in my pc r8 now, but i have dled it with in 2 days. but when i wanna unzip it, it says its been damaged :s . now i m dling it again.

as far as i know, Smile is the best ISP in BD. if u dont think so then tell me which is the best ?

Maybe actually look at the date before you reply to it? Back then it was whole different playing field. Now, after BDCOM took over they are pretty bad speed wise.

I don't think you are supposed to get more than 12 in Bronze, they allot 128kbps for bronze package. I live in Greenroad and use silver package, I get all time 20+. you can try upgrading to silver.
