    Default 6770 or 550Ti?

Hey guys I finally managed some cash for a GPU and hopefully will be getting it in a week or so. Now I need your help in selecting the best Gpu I can afford. My Psu must be able to run the card as I wont be able to upgrade the psu before July at best.

Now I don't no which one I should get the radeon 6770 or geforce gtx 550Ti (i'm not sure if my TT lt430 can handle the 550Ti)

so please guys need your expert advice, I just wanna play all the latest games in mid/high settings at 1366*768 resolution for at least the next 1.5 years.

Oh and how would you compare these cards to the Winfast GTX260 extreme+

    Thanks.

The 550Ti is on par with the 6790, therefore it's going to be a little more powerful than the 6770. I personally would go for the 550Ti in this comparison.

Try to get a 2nd hand GTX460 if possiable if not get GTX 550Ti, 550Ti consumes more power then HD 6770 and mostly performs on per with 6770(kichu +- hote pare) but higher res. GTX 550Ti scales better and Nvidia Physx would come handy along with 550Ti and Nvidia'r stable driver toh asei....

AMD er baper e beshi kichu bollam as it might heart some AMD fans...

TDP(Power consumption) of 550Ti & 6770 are 116W & 108W.So go for 550Ti as 8W doesnt make any difference.Ur PSU can handle 550Ti.But in the long run plz try to manage a Delta 500W.

get a 6790 if possible...as far as i know...physx e fps drop kore onek 550ti te...6790 is a better option. and imo..IF you take 550ti, then go for asus OC edition...it should be better than the other ones in the market.
when god created me, he was just showing off..!!!

    .
yah 550ti's tdp is rated as 116w by nvidia...but as a part of fermi architecture it draws a lot lot more than the rated TDP. its power consumption is around ~140W under load, practically which is more than a ati 6870...
so tbh 550ti is not recommended on a LP 430w which has just 22a on +12v rail...

550ti is sslightly faster than 6770 but not on per with 6790...

    @ramiz
im currently a 6770 user, im very happy with renders frame rates for nfs the run, bf3, la noire, and many hot titles.

things i find good about the 6770 : low power consumption + almost no sound from the fan even playing intense sessions of BF3 The Run on Ultra settings for more than 4 hours + display port output

basically 6770 is a renovation of the older 5770, nothing much, but none the less a very good card on the budget.

you probably will be better of with the 550ti asus OC'd edition which gives u better performance with physx enabled games, ( frame rates dropped when playing mafia2 with physx enabled with the 6770)

of which 6770 u r using?? SAPPHIRE or XFX?? m using XFX's 6770..fan speed is now 70%..sounds like Phantom's V16 engine. right now i got headphone on my ear nd listening a song..but still i can hear that sound..

@@nonymous brother, see the acove power consumption chart,
7970HDs do practically consume less power than 6970HD.

In BD if u think like other western or american countries that if u cant use a gpu taking account tdp of fermi structure u cant use a gpu of ur will.Ppl in BD here always think of using gpu of much higher tdp with six pin converters that is nt recmmonded at all.So if we take account the tdp(116w) what nvidia anounces than itz fair enough to use 550ti with that litepower 430w.Also majority of vote goes here for 550ti.So i guess it is the best option like every1 thinks of it.
