At max you'll get 400W from overall system use including GPU. Not bad

The only thing I was concerned about was the total combined output capability of that particular psu as it's almost 2 years old. But it looks like it has still enough juice left in it's tank to serve my upcoming 380. Thx for clarifying it.

It could be and thx for mentioning it but I don't want to spend behind a psu at the moment as my current psu is working flawlessly until now. Will it be enough for 380?

At least you're using the older Smart PSUs, you're in good shape for now.

r9 380 uses at load about 190w++ .550w PSU is good enough but depends on over all system .Very good PSU has 80 to 85 (+-) power factor.it also loses over time.
