    Default Z68 or P67

I want to get Core i5 2500K. GPU will be HD6950. Should I get P67 or Z68 mobo? I heard it doesnt make that much of a difference. My maximum budget for mobo is 15k. Please suggest me a mobo without SLI/Xfire with Z68 or P67, which will be better? No SLI/Xfire becoz I cant afford to use Dual cards. All help will be appreciated. Thanks.

    Asrock Z68 Extreme3- 12.5k
Grab one quickly... Might run out of stock
As for sli/cfx... It supports all... And a very gud overclocking board... If u don't sli/cfx then use the extra slot for a sound card

asrock was a part of asus so far i've known, not now, but their relation, according to some sources, are like tyotota and lexus. I can't rule this out as asrock and asus board design are nearly same.

Thanks all. I use AsRock now its not that bad. Its really good even though its cheap. AsRock products are definitely value for money. AsRock and ASUS are sister brands like Lexsus and Toyota, as far as I heard. That doesnt mean quality is as good as ASUS. But as a user I vouch that AsRock is good. But who imports AsRock? Kon dokan eh surely motherboard ta pabo?

Please suggest me a mobo without SLI/Xfire with Z68 or P67, which will be better? No SLI/Xfire becoz I cant afford to use Dual cards. All help will be appreciated. Thanks.
considering the bold part of the quotation, u wont ba able to find any board without SLI/CFX except this one, i'm currently using this, and so far this is the best board without sli/cfx feature with all goodies of P67 plus some legacy feature like floppy controller, IDE controller etc, legacy pci slots...

about choosing Z68 over P67 u will find some extra features like SSD caching and Intel Quick Sinc with Lucid virtu and none of these features would benefit u in gaming oh i missed one last point the Z68 might support the future Ivy Bridge CPU but not yet confirmed by intel....

So..if u r into video encoding, editing the lucid virtu will drastically change the computing performance, and about SSD cacheing some reviews shows that feature wont put a lott impact in general performance and about supporting Ivy Bridge cpu in future, yet noting is confirmed from Intel, and none of these benefit u in gaming if u r a gamer, so considering these u may buy Z68 motherboard.

and P67 holo excluding theses features and price o Z68 er theke kom, jodi Z68 er features gulo apnar kono kaj e na ashe u may get a good P67 mobo...

    best of luck

@musvi - I cancelled Xfire and SLI coz oi mobo gula hudai expensive hoy. I wanted to buy ASUS ROG Maximus III Gene for the P55 chipset, But why pay extra 5K only becoz it has a secondary PCIe 2.0 slot which um never gonna use. Since 2nd Gen erh dam komse, I guess now better upgrade.

Since AsRock Z68 ta amar budget erh modhdhe considering it has gold capacitors and PCIe 3.0 slots, I am gonna go for that one.

I am using the AsRock H55-LE right now. Nothing fancy, but love the sound card in it. My mom's laptop is Dell XPS and it has built in Creative X-Fi. Not comparing it to that one, but amar headphone X-Fi eh etoh kapeh, X-Fi ekta cheap headphone erh performance barae dey. Amar ager Gigabyte H55-S2V teh full sound ditam, tao headphone erh bass kaptoh na. But with this AsRock bass dey, almost close to the X-Fi. So I am really impressed with AsRocks quality, since AsRock ke ami ECS erh thekeo lower brand moneh kortam. But after using it, I think AsRock is a mainstream brand, pr at least deserves to be.
