আণ্ডা। বাংলাদেশে CSE যেই লাউ, EEE সেই কদু। চাকরির বাজার সবসময় মন্দা।
-future marketplae
দেশে ইঞ্জিনিয়ার যেহেতু বাড়তেই থাকবে, এবং চাকরির সুযোগ কমতেই থাকবে; সেহেতু কোনটারই কোনও ভবিষ্যৎ নাই।
-abroad scholarship

1. I think CSE has slightly better marketplace right now because you know its much easier to start a CSE based farm than a EEE based farm so yeah CSE is better in this situation and it is much easier to gain extra skills in cse, all you need is a computer but for EEE not that easy.
2. about future, well future is uncertain but I will still be biased towards CSE because I don't see EEE flourishing in this country anywhere soon.
3. Both of them are pretty much the same.
4. I love both of them, studied and studying both of them, to me both of them are awesome. They do have huge familiarity though.
Bottom line, take whatever you like, whatever you have passion for, don't just get into a place for it's reputation.

can a EEE passed student get job in Microsoft, Intel and other companies like these?
other than those companies, what do the EEE students have to do in their job? they surely need to learn programming to do better in their field, isn't it?

If you love CSE more than EEE, stick to it.
They should, although I doubt how many Bangladeshi people are working in those high reputed corporations. EEE students can get jobs at power sector, both government controlled or private, they can get jobs at private farms that require that skill and knowledge, even pharmaceuticals need EEE graduates.
About programming, yes ofcourse, that's why it is included in EEE course too.
lol this has been a debate between EEE & CSE running older than u think.
however the actual story is rather different.
what today's graduate wants is to get the degree as soon as possible get a high paying job starting.
but, after they pass.majority of the students simply don't get called for interview.& after sitting ducks for years.they starts blaming the degree/course it self.
& also there is a big role of mama/chacha which we call reference.
the thing is that fresh grad need to understand the followings:
branded/reputed company will not hire u if u do not have experience.
minimum requirement often is not fulfilled by fresh graduate e.g. minimum knowledge on technological term at various working scenario.
fresh graduate often tends to apply to direct industry instead of entry level position like trainee.
& lastly the bitter truth out age old & disastrous education system.
when i did complete my bachelor i realize that specially in private university because the semester is too short.students are given the shortest learning time & even DIY or homework is then down to a minimum which considerably reduce the total knowledge gain.
in our country EEE & CSE are presented as two different degree.
but,in abroad they are combined as ECE.
Don't listen to Abba and Uncle in this matter. I did, wasn't a great thing to do. And one funny thing that I can remember, at final year at KUET, I was doing thesis on a pure electronics subject (I was in ME). One friend at EEE was doing software based image processing, another friend at CSE was making a drone.
And from my experience, if you love hardware, EEE is better, if you love software, then CSE. And about jobs, Intel -> EEE, Microsoft -> CSE.
Finally, if you want a job in BD, Diploma is good enough. BSc not neccessary.![]()
Stick with what u chose. Things don't always go as planned and the "passion" we think we have doesn't always last. But even then you'll know in your mind that it was YOUR decision. Not someone else's.
you dont need a degree to get a job in cse imo. You just have to be smart. Most companies do not even care how great your cgpa is ,they find the page where you done some work and of course interview is important. You want to be hired by google? you need to be insanely good at math , do some open source projects n put them up on github as well .It really depends on what you want to be ...then work towards it. lets say you you are good at programming...i would say when someone actually pops the hood of a compiler n see inside ..understand it make some changes is a good programmer perhaps. Do open source projects as many as you can n put your cv there to get hired . I can write a whole article on what needs to be done to get a job but you guys are smart so that would be unnecessary . Think like this wat is selling ..what can be sold in future according to what you have seen so far..what r the missing features ..then make software scripts whatever ..ahem something like that might work for you perhaps. It really depends on how far r you willing to go to make yourself rich

-Kinda non existent in Bangladesh, u have to start your own farm, and CSE has slighty more better prospectus for this
-Really bad, everyone in bd either opt for engineering(and most end up in cse or eee) or medicals, but the job position isn't increasing, so it will be difficult to get job
-Becoming more difficult to get, as most of the students are now a days opting for going abroad, but CSE might have better chance of scholarship. In many universities in north america(like mine one UBC) cse is considered computer science unless u don't want to take computer engineering, and computer science is under science department, which gives away more scholarship than engineering department. Its regarding to north america(us and canada) as i don't know anything about europe.
Personally, both are awesome and inter-related
I chose cse because my mind seems to easily understand stuff related to computers.
And regarding abba uncle matter: আপনার বাপ মামা যদি কয় আপনার হাইএন্ড ডুয়াল গ্রাফিক্স কার্ড গেমিং পিসির জন্যে জেনেরিক পাওয়ার সাপ্লাই ই যথেষ্ট তাইলে কি আপনে তাদের কথা শুনবেন?
Since I study CSE, EEE is obviously a waste of time (!)
Jokes aside, depends entirely on what you want to do with your life.
CSE AND EEE does not matter.only Engineering matters . we all brothers.
But Doctor VS Engineer matters... and I'm Eng. so say bye to DoCx![]()
