Is a bsc in cse from a new public university enough to get a job with better salary compareing AIUB EEE???
আস্সালামুআলাইকুম ! একটু পরামর্শ চাচ্ছি ৷
Currently I am reading EEE at AIUB 2nd semester . I have got chance in a public university, which is a new university, RANGAMATI SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY .
I am in a hesitation, what should I do???
Honestly, going to Rangamati to study engineering seems like a silly thing to do.
If you feel you're well suited to EEE (this is important, it's not for everyone) -- I'd say stick to it in AIUB.
If you're looking for a paradigm shift, you should explore your options. I still wouldn't recommend going to Rangamati to study engineering though.
In case you want to study engineering, then stick to AIUB(considering you have no financial problem). And, if you want to study CSE, you can easily change. You are only in 2nd semester so you will have no problem changing department. AIUB's computer science faculties are one of the bests in the country. I highly hope you get the permanent campus though.

If you plan to study abroad after BSc, check out SE (Software Engineering) or COE (Computer Engineering). Trust me, better options. If you want to do MBA here in Bangladesh, CSE will be better.
If you want to finance yourself, CSE/SE/COE will give you more flexibility in case of outsourcing. If you do it correctly, you don't need a job to thrive. (You can outsource while studying any subject actually, but if you study CSE/SE/COE, you don't have to put extra efforts in some core subjects.)
[If you have financial problems and consider studying in AIUB]
Outsourcing is a nice option for financial problems (and Scholarship is a plus). I know private universities are a pain in case of finance. So, since you are in AIUB, I think you know Abhijit Sir from Computer Science department. And, I think you have also heard of Workspace IT. Even if you don't know what I am saying, contact with Abhijit Sir, and do some training in Workspace IT. You should get discounts since you are in AIUB. Again, trust me, it's hard but rewarding.
সরকারি সার্টিফিকেট জবের ক্ষেত্রে কেমন সহায়ক????
I think AIUB certificate will do much better than Rangamati STU.
Here's my two cents-
As you are saying Rangamati Science and technology university is new, chances are lab facility is not good and as it is a public university I'm sure it is, and another thing is good facilitators or instructors might not go there, I'm pretty sure it will have enough facility by 2020 or something but for now it might not be a good idea to go there.
If you have lived in dhaka all your life chances are you won't be able to cope up with that environment or you would get caught up with your new found freedom so much that your result might dip.
Getting a job in CSE sector is kinda easy this days, if you have a good background or presentable profile on UVA/SPOJ/LightOJ/Codechef, you will easily get a job, no matter where are you from, you can get it but better university might arrange many different programs which might help you getting the job. And for any subject, If you want to study CSE and have passion for it go ahead, same goes for EEE. If you don't have passion any particular subject don't even consider getting into it. Don't worry about job first make sure what suits you best.
Going abroad is also simple this days, then again you will be needing a good score.
So overall I think Rangamati is not worth it, not now.
If you want to go freelancer route and then find freelancing work online see if you are able to do them n get paid ...as your skills grows you will find many people willing to hire you from abroad cuz you have done some practical work n got paid for it . This is the fastest way IMO ..Good luck.
@hasan01933 BD te thako r na thako, stick to AIUB, . IBA er MBA kore bank job peye jaba. starting salary around 45K @Mt O in 2nd tier banks.
bidesh gele start preparing yourself right now and ask your teachers which universities are affiliated with AIUB.
avoid intermediate and advance level courses since most of them won't be accepted by foreign universities.
Thanks a lot vaia ......... apnar details answer dakha valo laglo ......RMSTU jacci na insaallah
