to see if they can assist.
CPU PLL ta beshi lagche, eta chara everything looks okay, dekhen stable thake kina.
Turn off speedstep for the time being, raise the baseclock, along with that the vcore if required. Oops! Temps are already pretty high, cooler ki? And leave PLLs and clock skews at auto for the time being, tinker with'em only if you can't reach a stable desired oc, otherwise let them be. Set the RAMS on 1.5Vs and up the mem. multi to operate them at 1600Mhz since you have 1600 bus capable vengeances.
IBT diye 45mins stress korar kono dorkar nai. 10-15 loops is enough, then run Small FFTs on prime95 for extended periods, and finally leave them on blend tests in prime95 over nights.

Nah.........vCore komailam - and again - damned BSOD.......:'(
For Core i7 950 ocing to 3.8ghz, YOU DO NOT req 1.29V thats the reason ur getting high temp. Im pretty sure you might even get stable OC at stock Vcore (probably around 1.18V-1.20V) if not then go immediate next higher voltage value available.
Keep these following stock,
ICH Voltage (if its CPU vtt/ram controller then keep .05v difference between vtt and vcore)
CPU Differential Amplitude : 800mV ok if it is default)
CPU Clock Skew : Auto
For such mild oc you dont need to fiddle with Advance settings since they might introduce further unstability if changed in wrong direction. But they will be handy when u r going above 4.2+ (in ur case)
Besides, for 24/7 use I always recommend Dynamic OC since it's more appropriate and power efficient. D. OC will drop voltage and multiplier when doing normal operation such as browsing etc. Few days back i got more than 45 minutes of backup(800 VA ups) from my setup (includes a 24" led Monitor) while i was working in Microsoft Excel.
The only downside is u will end up a tad below your maximum attainable static OC plus a tad more challenging to make it stable but its worth it.

1. update the BIOS
2. Load Default Bios settings then restart
3.Stress test ur system at Stock settings. If successful go to 4th Step.
4. Lower memory multiplier (just to rule out that ram is not causing issue) and Raise ONLY the base clock at 10mhz increment (switching to 5mhz would be even better). Do not touch any kind of voltage settings (Keep all at stock)
then post your Max Stable OC at stock voltage. (Can you borrow a multimeter?)

Could you post a CPUZ screenshot of your processor? Make sure to use the latest version of CPUZ, I suspect this could be a matter of processor revisions, though it's just a suspicion.

It could be that you're one of the unlucky guys who happened to got a hold of a less performing chip, though I doubt that's the case, these days I don't trust Asus no more, with that said, I believe
Is pretty happy with this same board, someone's gotta meet up and help you out, Rakin could you share your overclock settings pls, only if you have your processor overclocked right now that is, otherwise don't bother.
Sorry bro, Can't help here. I had the board now its dead in Global's head office. I remember the Settings though but don't want to share it. Anyway check fb PM.

Check these links bro:
Pretty valuable information there.
And to add a bit of confusion.. this:

Well studied all of them - yet - i don't get it why the hell my setup needs that much vCore - amar motherboard 2nd time change kora - and ram brand new corsair - both flawless - at least i think so - i am thinking - can there anything be wrong with my processor?.......say it's not that capable ot OC......u know?......maybe i got my hands on a faulty or unlucky chip?

Unfortunate or there are something very very silly i am missing. Well - i have a corsair Hydro H100 incoming. Alongside 2 more 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Corsair RAM. I hope i can give it a shot with a little high vCore...........and if luck prefers - then i will get the 2600k soon - in that case - let's see what happens.
