@Dee Well, my monitor is in a pretty bad condition and I would really like to consider buying that first (Most of the times I have to spank it to get it working ).

And could you please be a little more specific about the products you suggested ?

Actually I don't really have much idea about the present market condition, so can't really be more specific, but as you said you gonna need a monitor too, go for a card like a 550Ti or a 460/6850 if available (if you are okay with a monitor worth >10k). And btw, I didn't get a mention notification.

    • A 1080P monitor for 12K
    • 2GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM for 1.5K
    • A Delta 550W PSU for 6K
Which leaves 10K for the GPU.

Well if u dont want to buy psu u can buy Sapphire 6670 GDDR5 which is 8.4k at Ryans/Onyx.
    http://www.ryanscomputers.com/model.php?page=2&itemid=9&itemname=&iten_inv_id=&img=Sapphire_HD6670_Big.jpg&bra nd=SAPPHIRE&model=Sapphire HD6670 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express Card&price=8400&iid=4986&#Top

Ur PSU Space 400W can handle 6670.

But if u can afford to buy PSU go for 550Ti which is 10.5k & also a PSU thermaltake Litepower worth 3.5k for it.
    The choice is upto u.

Can you also suggest a brand/model no. for the monitor and GPU? And I think I can buy the RAM later, so the RAM budget can be used for the monitor or GPU.
    Thanks for your help.

Is a 550W PSU necessary if I plan to get a 550Ti? I was hoping there would be some cheaper PSU good enough to do the job, like the Tt Litepower as suggested by Camouflage.
I think the monitor you are suggesting is not available and I know someone who bought a 1080P monitor for 13.5k.

I think the monitor you are suggesting is not available and I know someone who bought a 1080P monitor for 13.5k.
Not necessary. But for future purpose it would be very good. And I don't rely that much on TT low priced psu's. You can go for cheaper psu & yes those ones will be to run GTX 550 TI. Now it's up to you whether you go for it.

About monitor if possible tell me which ones are available on market. So that I can give you some suggestion. Found that monitor on Ryans site.

    Don't go for TT litepower.
If you want to GTX 550Ti, get atleast TT TR2 500W.

Bro i have suggested you litepower to fit in ur budget. But what @Arif69 is absolutely perfect for u.If u take the Acer S221HQ for 12.5k u have some bucks left.Go for Delta 550W with that money.Itz far more better than Thermaltake Litepower 420W.Delta 550W will be futureproof for u.

Okay so you guys are suggesting,
    -TT TR2 500W - 5k
    -550Ti - 11k
    -1080P monitor - 13k
    -2GB ram - 1k

I hope the price approximations are correct, as I really have just 30k

Okay so I went to IDB today, to see if the things I want are available (didn't know the Fair was going on, had to spend 10tk on the entry ticket!! also some gaming competition was going on)

    Now, the available things are:

    TT 500W - 5k (at UCC)
    Samsung B2230H 21.5" - 13.3k (at Ryans)
    2GB DDR3 1333Mhz - 1k

that leaves me with 10.7k for the GPU and the GPU's available are:

    ECS 550Ti - 11k
    MSI N550GTX Ti Cyclone - 13k
    Gigabyte HD6770 - 10k
    Sapphire HD6790 - 12.5k

Though all these cards except HD6770 are exceeding by budget but I think I'll be able to manage more 1-2k, so now looking at my current config, which one are you guys suggesting?

And also is it possible to get a cheaper PSU? I don't remember in which but in one shop they offered me a PSU at 3.8k with 6 months warranty and said it'll easily support the ECS 550Ti. I was hoping to save some money to repair my UPS.
