Lightbulb Help me to choose the right GPU Please!

    Hello experts,
I am going to buy a new GPU. My budget is arround 22K to 25K. I cant go above this. And I should tell, I have a great weakness for Nvidia cards. Considering all above, I choose to buy MSI GTX 960 card. Now there are 2 cards. One with Vram 2Gb. And the another one is with Vram 4Gb. Which should I buy? The price difference between them is not so high. I don't need to play in multiple monitor. What I want most is-
    1. Smooth Gaming
    2. I wont be needed to buy another one in the next 2-3 year.

So, please guys. I will be grateful if u suggest me one. I wanted to buy the 4Gb one. But many told that, 4Gb will be worse than a 2Gb. Is it true? Thanks in advance!

i would suggest 380, 380 is definitely better than 960.

upcoming 380x is even better but i am not sure about bd price...

there is little difference between 960 2gb vs 4gb so dont consider it.

if you are fond of nv and can get 32k get 970.

get the r9 380. or if you can increase your budget by about 5k then get the gtx970. however if your psu can't handle it then yes the gtx960 is fine.

Try to provide you system spec so that its easier to give you the best opinion. A GPU doesnt run by itself so if we knew about system spec including your monitor size and resolution, then we will know whether u need 4GB or 2GB.

Have you checked other brands? MSI GPUs are extremely overpriced in BD and I dont think its worth it. 960 is not worth 25K at all. Asus Strix 2GB cost about 20K. So please check the market.

Whatever you do please don't go with 960 4GB if you want to spend 25K. Go for the R9 380 even if there is some unbreakable treaty or something between you and nvidia. However, if you want to go for Nvidia, just plain increase your budget and get the 970. Your money will be well spent. You might try the Gigabyte GV-N970TTOC-4GD version. It seems like the cheapest 970 there. [link here]

Both R9 380 and GTX 960 are good cards but I think for this price bracket (21K-25K) getting R9 380 would be a good choice. Maybe in some situations GTX 960 would perform better than R9 380 (e.g. nVidia card users get better experience playing GTA V since it is optimized for nVidia or I've read somewhere that an EVGA GTX 960 4gb SSC performs better than an overclocked R9 380 but this EVGA card is more expensive than R9 380 and it isn't available in Bangladesh) but R9 380 will yield overall better performance for its price.

I'm not saying that GTX 960 is way behind of R9 380, in fact some general assumptions of people about this card being a very poor performer isn't true; such as many say that 960 can't fully utilize 4gb Video RAM due to 128 bit memory bus which is incorrect because Maxwell's color compression technology is able to provide more bandwidth on a smaller memory bus and this is why this card is able to utilize it's full memory just fine. It is true that performance and price wise R9 380 is ahead of GTX 960 but it is ultimately your decision that which one you'll get.

You have a pretty nice rig, I totally agree with @kaziishan , buy GTX 970, Asus Turbo would cost you 31k whereas gigabyte will cost 30k. GTX 960 would be too weak for ur system. Don't waste the potential of ur system for just 6k bucks. Even if u have to wait for a month or two go for GTX 970 its gonna be worth it
