BF4 release wasn't as bad as AK, not sure how you managed to turn that into a rant against EA lol.

I have all of those games, their free games mean nothing to me.

Lel well you can give points at least for making amends, also EA ruined Maxis and everything in Sims good to know Will Wright left earlier. Even Riccitiello leaving didn't change crap

But I gotta say at least Titanfall in PC went well, Season Pass was given free. Maybe their evilness was consistent with DICE for the most part.

well, you are kinda right about ak being more broken than bf4 mp at launch, but both were broken. more importantly, i would compare ac unity pc launch to bf4 mp pc launch, ubi did damage control, they cancelled season pass and gave a 60$ game free. while ea was like "u pre ordered one of the most buggy release so what? what more do u want from us? at least we delivered u a game."
only 1% of all bf4 purchasers was playing bf4 in early 2014, something like that never happened in any multiplayer game before, that never happened for their competitor call of duty, 99% of gamers stop playing the game after first few months? that never happened for call of duty. i think, and i might be biased about this because i pre ordered bf4, but some other people agree with me that ea should have given bf4 premium free for bf4 pre orders, or at least bf hardline free for bf4 pre orders.

i dont know why do u always, always try to defend these companies, in case u didnt get it yet, the companies aint saving the video gaming industry, it's us.

well, maybe i am biased so thats how i managed to turn this news against an ea rant. i mean its well known that i(and almost everybody on the face of the earth) hate ea. and maybe i am mad at another 60$ premium thing for battlefront 3, which doesnt even have a singleplayer and definitely being rushed to match dates with the movie. i mean, after seeing how ea does business, its pretty difficult not to be biased against them, pretty difficult. i mean, these days if you dont have any bias against ea, i wont call u fanboy, but personally i would think of u as a robot, playing games without emotions or something like that...

I think they are.. or atleast close most evil game company has to be either EA or konami. bullshit like sega is also hated but they're too small to matter now. Ubisoft is bad too but they are more terrible than evil. Saddest thing is we still keep buying their stuff everyone tried to plan a boycott but never works since they have the best licenses.

That's cause TF was a crap game and they needed to give the pass for free to keep the game alive.

If I start complaining and write 1000 word essays a day, will EA change? No.

I preordered both TF and BF4, regret both, will not preorder anything again. Giving them my time as well is my loss only.

Battlefront is going to be good hopefully, the beta was fun (not a SW fan but my friends went crazy for the game) and people seem to enjoy it. I don't approve of the huge DLC cost but if they do it right like BF3 premium, then people will spend the $$.

I give EA the benefit of doubt because they are trying to make changes. It all comes down to voting with your wallet, if they can't manage to release stable titles then don't buy their games. Me complaining about instability will not get things done faster.

Exactly, I had fun while I played it but after the first two months, there was no reason to keep playing. Ranking up was silly, guns were limited, not many maps, for a $60 MP only game, those should not be a problem.

well, i can name one game where developer change their ridiculous pre order policy after reading fan reaction- deus ex. but i get it, ea is in higher level than 2k games, they don't care what you say, until people can actually protest with their wallet they wont even notice fan reaction.

well, unlike you many people dont think that both titanfall and bf4 pre ordering was equally bad, because if you pre ordered titanfall you could get less content and feel boredom but at least you could actually play the game. and if you pre ordered bf4..... needless to say....

about the benefit of doubt... what have ea done recently to actually convince you that they are becoming less evil everyday? they didnt convince me except for updating bf4 with new maps and stability patches. and they only did that after realizing many old battlefielders left battlefield for good and they are not coming back very soon. but i get it... they are trying to be little nicer as they at least didnt release half broken dragon age game, it doesnt matter if the game was criticized by rpg lovers, and even though they try and release a re skinned bf4 named hardline at least it wasnt half broken either. so by ea's standard, they are pretty damn good. :v

also, ea claimed they will listen to customers after being the worst american company the first time in usa, thats 2012, then they made the simcity disaster and become the worst 2nd time in mid 2013. then they said again "we will get better have faith in us". after that, after that they released battlefield 4 and we all knew how that went. just shouting 'have faith we are getting better' isnt enough for me, even though it might be enough for u.

i wasnt comfortable with bf3 dlc either, of course 3 of the 5 dlc was awesome with maps and guns, but 60$ price tag for 5 dlc? and each sold separately with 15$-20$ price tag? no hell no. coz 1 of the 5 dlc... close quarters had terrible map size, i mean even call of duty maps were significantly bigger than close quarter maps. and if i remember properly CQ allowed only 32 players so if you had a 64 player premium server that rotates every dlc map you couldnt put a CQ map in the map cycle coz its 32 player only, lol. and they tried to release that dlc for 15$? i mean, really ea? moreover, 60$ for premium doesnt feel totally bad because you are getting 20 maps with lots of guns and some vehicles, but you have to realize the cq maps are pretty aweful for a battlefield game so you are down to 16 new maps. while to many people it seems okay to spend 60$ for 16 new maps and guns, releasing each dlc separately at very very high price made me feel bad.

I have all of those games, their free games mean nothing to me.
Please pass the free games to this poor man.

BF4 SP ran perfectly fine on my end so if being able to play TF is enough to fulfill you're boredom then the SP should be enough too.

The DLCs name itself is Close Quarters....why would you even expect normal BF sized maps. I thought it was perfectly worth it, and given the number of active Premium servers I used to see back then, I don't think most people had issues with the price either. 'Made you feel bad' does not mean the whole community should be outraged.

I'm not interested in arguing this any further with you, vote with your wallet like I do and pray you see change.

it didnt only made me feel bad, it made many people feel bad. and voting with your wallet is 100% correct way, but the thing is these publishers have all the IPs we want to play, we can't play witcher 3 whole year, so sooner or later we need to buy games from these godforsaken publishers. about the number of players doesnt always picture the full story, even bf4 has a looot of players right now(bf4 premium servers have lot of players too), but if you consider how many actually bought the game, how many did pre order the game, then majority of the people who bought the game actually dont play the game for months... and 98% of bf4 pre orderers feel terrible about the game for obvious reasons. thats the whole story. moreover, even hardline has lot of players in console.

ea didnt even say anything about battlefront season pass, but you know what... people still gonna pre order the season pass, without even knowing whats in there.

It was 10x better than AK release. I faced one major bug where the game kept crashing in the tank scene. Other than that I can't remember anything that stuck out.
