Who said ASRock is not up to the mark ? ASRock was an OEM of Asus recently, build quality between ASRock & Asus, considering their high end boards should be similar. Their latest 1155 boards, are really good for the money, namely the Extreme3/4. Wrong about the last part too, these boards are built in mind for OCing, otherwise they could ditch the whole expensive VRM/high end components. I'm taking about the Fatal1ty in general.

Almost every board got burnt within 18 months. Asus boards are unstable in nature from the very start.. used P5K-VM... the classic P4P-800 (Legend that made asus renowned).... now using Asus H61-MLX. Gigabyte cheap boards are are good at stock but really hard to overclock... my friends 890-FX UD5 cannot even successfully unlock Phenom II 550 ( Which unlocks in MSI 890 fx board). So just because it is Biostar, AsRock and ECS does not mean it is cheap, crap board. My choice now goes to AsRock boards... They are the most stable boards i have seen. The failure rate is really low compared to other brands. U can ask the reseller of AsRock Computer City....
People here saying that Biostar is crap brand with crap boards... but do you know biostar produced one of the best boards of P67 chipset?
It is the Biostar TP-67 XE. On average it can take Core i7 2600K upto 4.8 Ghz....look at the number of recognitions it got
Yep, you are right. MSI low end boards are horrible, same goes for Asus. Gigabyte makes some very good value boards, like for e.g G31/G41 boards & lastly overclocking will depend on a no of things. Every chip has a certain threshold, it won't go any higher on the most high end boards available, if it can't tolerate that extra speed.

Oh & let me point out that, unlocking cores is just luck of the draw. The Gigabyte 890FX is definitely better, stay the hell away from MSI AMD 8xx boards, yes even the high end 890FX GD70, there are numerous reports of VRMs blowing up from unlocking & overclocking Phenoms or 125W Phenoms on that board.

@musvi bhaiya, I wouldn't take that Biostar board if I were you. Why dont you go for the Z68 GD65 from MSI ? Or the ASRock P67 Extreme ?

Newegg doesn't say anything about the ASRock Fatal1ty P67 Performance being B3 stepped, check this link, whereas the ASRock Fatal1ty P67 PROFESSIONAL, clearly says it is B3 stepped, here.

@musvi just go to ECS Computer City at the top floor. There you will find AsRock P67 Fatality performance with box. You can verify it by yourself.
