What did UCC learn all these years? It's hard enough spending 20% more over here, their rate is now 35%. Do the math on the Titan X they're selling it's 35% more than the international price.

I was shocked about the APU, whose going to buy that now? 125 USD APU at 135tk rate. F**k them, am boycotting these ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤s. I know it was done here before but I hope this serves as warning for newcomers, do not buy their products.

From when UCC was fair with their prices??? I have heard some real bad acquisitions about UCC from the people working in IDB. And, it always seems to be true.

It's not about being fair, they are monopolizing these brands even AMD brand.

Well I have told UCC on their faces many times that they are have a horrible business plan and having over 40% profit margin is just too much. 4 months ago they showed alot of arrogance and a little bit of hostility towards me. But i have noticed that they are coming a little bit back to their senses. Though they are still going for a higher profit margin.

But they are not the only scums, look at Computer Sources. They are still not providing more than 1 yr of warranty.

I hope Global Brands and Smart Tech keeps expanding and improving their business plans to more competitive level. They have show a lot of improvements in recent time.

35000/27200(Newegg price) would mean more than 25% price. Well they're not UCC so seems legit.

    $339.99 * 77.90 = ৳26,486

where were you when the GlowBals were selling the Asus PG278Q ROG Swift at BDT 128.5 per Dollar!!

and, now when these shitheads are selling Seasonic PSUs for BDT 134 per Dollar, you don't give a damn about them, but keep on boycotting UCC and call them by names !!
    :sigh:

Stop using google for BDT exchange rates please, my brother knows bankers with credible information for that.

I wasn't interested in the Seasonic PSUs at the time, also aren't they suppose to be expensive? Looking at their Newegg prices, Modular with PFC costs like 70 USD and that's bronze. They're new here I guess in due time costs will go down. If you wanna throw something on Global, do it on another thread. All I see is they're selling a G-650 Gold at almost 3k extra price with 5 years warranty. That has resale value

UCC has been doing this for a long time and still are, I gotta bone to throw at those bast*rds

    G650 is 11.7k BDT.... so 11700÷99.99= 117BDT per Dollar!
and you mentioned in the first post ucc selling APUs at 115BDT per USD... hah

    Cheapest SeaSonic
    SeaSonic S12II-520GB $51.99
BDT 7000 at BDT 134 per USD

    Expensive SeaSonic
    SeaSonic 1200XP3 P-1200 $229.99
BDT 31000 at BDT134 per USD

Seasonic PSU prices are outrageous, but they are bringing it for the first time, so it can be somewhat excused. And about ASUS ROG Swift price, you have to pay a lot of extra tax for monitors over 22 inch.

UCC on the other hand, are selling AMD and MSI products at ridiculous price for ages. They used to sell sapphire products for okay price, but currently the R9 300 series prices are high as well.

Thanks, my headache wasn't helping me earlier. The FX 8370E they were selling earlier was at 18.2k, compared to 200 USD price it is now which is 16000tk. That's a good rate but why are they selling the APU at this price? It just kills the demand.

I hope Global Brands and Smart Tech keeps expanding and improving their business plans to more competitive level. They have show a lot of improvements in recent time.

Well I didn't say Global Brands are saints, just that they are better than UCC right now and I hope they will get better.

Asus 390 Strix costs a little bit higher than Sapphire 390 Nitro, furthermore UCC bring in more GPUs than Global Brands, therefore UCC gets better pricing from the manufacturer.

Global Brands were the first to sell GTX 960 2GB at TK20K that too the Strix version, which I appreciated. There is definitely alot of room for improvements and I hope they will improve (so that we get screwed less often)

where were you when the GlowBals were selling the Asus PG278Q ROG Swift at BDT 128.5 per Dollar!!

and, now when these shitheads are selling Seasonic PSUs for BDT 134 per Dollar, you don't give a damn about them, but keep on boycotting UCC and call them by names !!
    :sigh:
Yes its really expensive, so is everyother 27 inch monitors, cuz there you have to pay taxes on monitors over 18 inches. Now i don't know if the taxes are large enough to cause such increase in prices. Or they are just making their customers pay a premium for an extravagant item.

Look let me repeat it again, I am not saying that Global Brands has the best business policy and the lowest margin of profit for their customers. All I have said is they are better than UCC. Yes we can always hope that they will decrease their prices and profit margin. They were the first distributors in BD who started to sell GTX 960 2GB at TK20K. I know its still high but at one point they were the cheapest in BD. They were also the first distributors sold GTX 970 at TK31K. I have to give them credit for that. Although its not the end of the road, they will have to decrease the prices of so many other items to be everyone's favourite.

If you think they are also scums at the same level as UCC, I am fine with that. You have every right to think so, thats your opinion. Just like I have mine.
