This is because the return path (from Leaseweb to you) is different from the path you took to Leaseweb. In his case, it's the same.
Your ISP can certainly attempt to use BGP AS path prepending / prepending communities to advertise longer prefixes to Airtel peers (assuming Aamra doesn't strip such tags, as Airtel actually has such community support.)

So, while Aamra uses Tata to (somewhat) directly send the traffic to Frankfurt -- Leaseweb is bringing it to Los Angeles, and dumping it on the Telstra (Pacnet -> Asianetcom) backbone who happens to be supplying connectivity to Airtel, and your ISP's IIG is a customer of Airtel as well as Tata.
