The latest nsu tournament was attended by 18 teams last I heard but not all of them are dedicated/active in the CSS scene.

Scott.. Whos this ClaYman ? And from which team?
Sorry Im not a good CS:Source follower.. :$

And some of us here were not playing since January for fun or addiction.. We were trying to take it to the next level.. Im sure u'll get the hint.. once u get to know some of us in person.. And that is why, gamers prefers to Quit - rather than SWITCH.

And Btw... Thanks to the Servers! It helpd in many ways.
Must Admit It helped players to develop their own personal skills for sure, But in Bangladesh.. it can never help in building a winning team.... Indeed both the servers did gain a lot of popularity and was always appreciated.

The maker of the video, the point of the sentence was that people moved on to newer generations.

yes, without big tournaments it's really hard to keep it going but let's see what happens. Bangladeshi gaming community should not stop or slow down just because there's no WCG. Hoping to see more events in the upcoming years.
With which game did you enter the BD FPS gaming scene? SOURCE or 1.6?

yes... I entered in CSS first .. because there was no other online gaming service in BD that time ... and once I switched to 1.6, have you ever found me in CSS anymore?

I seriously don't know what are you trying to prove ...

    THere are other bigger reasons.
    1) AD is literally LAN
    2) Players have no connection issues with it but they have issues with ZX (outside of their LAN).
    3) Slow to update- this is what you mentioned. But the other 2 are way more important. 46 thakle ora 46 ei khelto.

if first 2 reasons were the main reasons...then why did they have to quit ZX after ZX installed v46...why not earlier???or is it because you need to be a rocket scientist to install v46?cause I myself found it child's play installing that patch.

Everytime ZX was updated, we had to link the people hundreds of times, then again for the next update, the very same people were asking about where to get the patch despite the fact that it was always posted in FB. You cannot say that we haven't done our part. But yes people got tired of these patches and most people didn't even see the point of the patches so oder jonno jekono patch e khelai enough. 44 hok ba 46 ba 42, it doesn't matter as long as they are able to play.

Matches khela hoi latest patch e though, so when the AD players will feel more competitive they will want to play matches and then they will have to update to play competitive matches

And those 2 are the main reasons. Oder ZX er shathe shomossha hoi bole khelte problem hoito, akhon ZX o frequently updated hoito ar oitao annoying chilo. BD te since declaration of WCG date- Fully Functional 1.6 teams with Solid lineup and preparation or as u say - FULLY FUNCTIONAL - was 12.. And Im sure date declare kora hole another 6-8 random teams would have attended the WCG.
Out of these 9 teams were closely competitive to each other, jara regularly team-practice korto. We used to see fierce competition between 5 teams at MG everyday.

Altho your question was about SOURCE - tarporeo answer korlam, coz this thread is about total CS scene.

The Number of source team should exceed easily 20 i guess.. Not sure all of these has solid lineup and preparation or not.
And I am not aware/confident about their competitiveness.. Coz everytime some 1.6 teams attended any Source tourney, they came out on top..
Again my views are contradictory coz none of the source teams did attend any 1.6 tourney.

Im also expecting to know the Number of fully functional source teams. Merging both 1.6 and source communities, if we can get 25+ teams.. Atleast 10+ teams can reach competitiveness within each other, and Im sure soon the level of gaming in BD will change

AD is now updated to patch 45[setti]/46[junkies]. R AD te lag er ekmatro reason is other routing. Jara BDIX b/w diye connect kortese tara losss face kortese. Etar ekta reason hoilo je v46 e Mani Command e problem hoche. Mani Admin Plugin theke kono command dile serer crash kore. So kono command e deya jachilo na. But jehetu Zx did not rollbacked to v44 player swithced to AD where v44 was used. It's just stabilty issu because of plugin issue. Nothing more then that.

Even Though I'm connected via BDIX I face 10-0 Loss nowadays. People are more into COD due to the Link3 server, They are able to play with virtually any line. Even @ 100 ping COD4 doesn't feel laggy as much as 50 Ping with CS. This is the main reason for so many teams in the COD4 community. If only BTCL were able to access CS Servers then the community would get larger significantly.
