    Possibly a driver problem, try updating. Though, can happen if the driver can't probe into the card for too long, which would indicate a card on the verge of death.

    Also, the mandatory lol Nvidia from an Ati fanboy =p

    THis is a problem many others have faced, I thik they label this as TDR Timeouts because of which the driver resets. Amaro atodin ei driver e chilo, didn't see that error. There's a new one out as well, try installing that.

    If it's frequent, I dare say it's something very big to worry about.

    Driver recoveries are indeed signs of a defective card, I've seen a lot of defective cards and from my experience, unless only a certain application or applications at a certain point triggers this event, there's a good chance that your card's having trouble keeping up to commands sent by the driver. Keep an eye on the card's temperatures by using GPU-Z and downclock or underclock the card to see if it helps you to get rid of the driver crashes.

    A lot of ifs and buts still remain unanswered, I dunno what card he's using or what is triggering this particular event, I was just stating that as to my experience of dealing with graphics cards, only twice or thrice I've seen that message appear on an nVIDIA card where it was really the fault of an outdated driver, and on the other occasions when I did see the driver recovery message, it was indeed the graphics card's fault, I'll admit though I haven't tested any other models past/later then the GTX 260 on my own.

    I dunno much about nVIDIA's current line up of drivers and GPUs so I'll have to point out that if this behavior is only observed with the combination of a certain driver version and a particular model of graphics cards then it may very well be the driver's fault, but just to be sure, a little monitoring/underclocking wouldn't hurt.

    @neorage , @WITCHER , @GalibZ .

    Do you guys have Afterburner installed?

    This happens very often when Afterburner is working in the background and tries to override the clocks/fan speed resulting into an interference with the GPU driver and hence causing it to crash.
    Jader ei problem hocche, can you guys please uninstall Afterburner and report back after some testing?

    Take aayman's advice and download the latest drivers, first download driver sweeper from Guru3D.com, then from the control panel, uninstall all the currently installed nVIDIA related drivers (display driver, 3D vision, physX) and then restart your pc into safe mode (can be done by holding the F8 key before the starting windows screen is shown) and use driver sweeper to clean the left overs of the driver from safe mode, restart the pc into normal mode, and then do a clean install of the latest downloaded drivers, and you should be alright.
