Post Need help in buying a PSU

    hello guys!

I need to buy a decent power supply for my PC. Its a Core 2 Duo 2.6GHz (OCed w/ Arctic Cooling Freezer 7) + Sapphire ATI Radeon HD5670 + 2x 1TB Samsung HDD + other basic stuff. My previous one (written 500W) is giving my problems as it's giving a high-pitch whining noise in the speakers. Also it intermittently shuts down for no reason .

My need some advice regarding a replacement 500W unit. What are available in BD and how's the cost? Its better if I can keep it ~4000BDT.

    Thnx in advance

Gigabyte Superb 550W is not available at the moment, in my opinion, get a Thermaltake Litepower 500W for 4.3k, that's more than enough for your pc, a Delta 500W for a 5670 is just overkill.

Even a Gigabyte 460W is enough for a 5670, but a better PSU always leaves room for future upgrade.

Nah, these PSUs are not bad, don't worry about it, these are quite good, and UCC is not that bad either, just has some issues with the RMA department, so if you want to avoid any sort of hassle with UCC directly, then just buy it from Ryans.

Gigabyte Superb 550W is not available at the moment, in my opinion, get a Thermaltake Litepower 500W for 4.3k, that's more than enough for your pc, a Delta 500W for a 5670 is just overkill.
    agree
