Razor, Lightning Revenant

I am a n00b when it comes to DotA bt I finally found a good hero to start with (I think). But I dont kno the good builds. I won a match wit a n00b team in my 4th game playing as Razor but I forgot the build. I killed 4 and died 9 times. So plz help.

Well there are lots of different builds for Razor, but u shud start with this:

Boots of speed (later to Boots of Travel)
3x Wraith Bands
Maelstrom (later to Mjollnir)
Helm of Dominator
Butterfly
(by this time the game shud be over but if its not... u cud go for:
Eye of Skadi / Buriza-do-Kayon / 2nd Butterfly / Heart of Tarrasque...)

Other builds,
these include:
- Buying a Bottle in the beginning
- Buying two Rings of Regeneration "
- Rushing Radiance instead of Maelstrom
- Rushing Butterfly
- Getting Manta Style instead of Maelstorm.

As for the Skill Build:
Just dont take frenzy till lvl 20.

Razor is mainly a farming hero with high DPS. He has a nice nuke (chain lighning), mostly used to finish opponents, nd sometimes to steal kills (like DMC ). Harassing with him is pretty easy...


nd btw, i missed out:

+ skill build, go for Black King Bar (or cheaper but less effective Hood of Defiance), if ur up against heavy nukers....

RUSH Eaglehorn, then make butterfly, make Dominator, then Buriza.

And at first buy wraith bands, and just keep a boots of speed, make power treads after Butterfly.

For Razor, you need travel..period...u really do...Radiance and Butterfly, followed with BKB and Satanic...GG!!

Rushing radiance might be prety hard for new players... so i suggested using Mojo..:s

Frenzy makes your hero get hit more, and it isn't really needed, later when you learn all the ways of using him, maybe you will take it around level 13 or 14 like I've seen some good players do. ;-)

Agreed...easier to build...this is my favorite item for Medusa, Raijin, Furion and Troll Warlord..

Butterfly = Shop #4
Eaglehorn (3,300) [Secret Shop] + Quarter Staff (900) [Weapon Dealer] + Butterfly Recipe (1,800)

Helm Of Dominator = Shop #2
Mask of Death (900) [Gateway of Demonic Artifacts] + Helm of Iron Will (950) [Weapons Dealer]

Radiance = Shop #4

Crystalys = shop #3

Buriza-do-Kyanon = Shop #4

Satanic = Shop #4
Helm of Dominator (1,850) [Shop #2] + Messerschmidt's Reaver (3,200) [Secret Shop] + Satanic recipe (1,100)

BKB + Frenzy negates the extra-damage! You can almost go for any agi/damage item with Razor. It is the freaking easy/¤¤¤¤ hero.

Also, a tip for newbies - Rush 3X Wraiths, Boots of Speed and MKB for Razor. It really helps you out! Well, nothing gives more DPS than MKB for 5400 gold! And Newbies need to capitalize that!
