    Default Electronics Shop in Uttara\Dhaka\Bangladesh

Can uttara friends help me with finding electronic shops in uttara selling ic's,resistors, capacitor and that short of stuff?Possibly with road and sector number and ofcourse the shop name.(Cause I am closest to uttara)

Also, dhaka friends any shops you might know in Banani or generally in Dhaka?I know there are very good shops in Dhaka somewhere but don't know where(the place whould definitely be far from my place from my LUCK).Where I am at is such a shitty place not one effing electronics shops, lots of electrical shops but no frigging electronics shop.

The parts I am looking specifically are TIP 31,IM340,MC33204P,Mega8-p and few capacitors, resistors that should be rare for alot of electronics store,so an old shop anywhere in dhaka is very much preferable. But if I get exteremely crazed and want to build the stuff I want to I might be willing to go anyplace in BD,so BD friends in general note electronics shops you know of that contain good collection of microcontoller ic's and stuff and post them here or I will go haywire.

I doubt you 'll find your desired devices here. I was once excited about building a Cmoy amp from scratch and i couldn 't even find one desirable OP-AMP after searching the entire Stadium.

Stadium and Patuatulli. Best place for these kinda things.

MEGA8p or ATMEGA8? ... I know ATMEGA8 is available in stadium. I got some yesterday for 150 taka each.

and almost every kind of normal caps and resistors are available too. What you cant get is some obscure or rare ICs.

so go to these places. And i dont think you will find a better place than these two.

sorry...atmega8....nice(toy cars are still in business after 24,eh?my hopes just soared sky high of retaining my toys collection and display them on a shelf )...although I am new in this game and because I have no background in electronics I am taking kinda like baby steps but already heard of arduino....I am taking schematics from internet and making stuff(going to)..actually a LED mod fired me up..my childhood love for electronics flared up like a sun flare...hmm I expect that will happen after all this is BD,no matter how much you love it,it won't produce the stuff you desire in proper @Hemlock bro, excellent info man @avas911,if you don't mind me asking, how do you burn them?I learned that this type of micro-controllers needs to be burned and the burner costs like 15k(bear in mind that my knowledge base is zero,I am yapping on what I found on the net)....

Going to stadium this Friday hopefully..and heard about this place called sarkar(or sardar) electronics somewhere I can't remember will get a visit from me someday(when I remember)..patuatuli if things go extreme(or I go extreme) because it's friggin far..

When you go to Stadium, visit the shops located at the swimming pool area to make the most out of your trip.

thats why i use Arduino. Extremely easy to use and also it costs like around 500 taka to build a programmer.

let me know if you wanna build one. I can help you.

And as a beginner Arduino will be a lot easier for you to learn then AVRISP or other ISPs.

    I usually built this http://arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoa...alSingleSided3 .

It has An ATMEGA8 and has everything a typical programmer has. Also it can be used with a normal PC with a USB/ Serial RS232 cable. And can be programmed using Arduino language which is a subset of C.
