Default Qubee Package Change And Billing System

Qubee post paid users please share info about Qubee package change and billing system.

¤Can I change my package in the middle of a month?

How does qubee bill you if you changed your package in the middle of a month?

¤Does Qubee charge you for two separate post paid packages (one package that you are currently using and one package you are changing/upgrading to in the middle of a month) in the next month's bill? (I know this question sounds weird but I need to be sure about it so I can avoid any hidden/extra charge/bill for changing package)

If I change to a new package and then I feel I don't need it anymore can I revert back to my old package in the very next month?Does Qubee allow this or have any limit on changing package in a limited time?

Yes to all three of your questions. They do pro-rata billing if you switch.

    @kung fu panda_4444 :
Err,I think I told you months back about this. Just to warn you, don't change your package in the middle of the month unless you didn't use more than a certain percentage of your package else they refund the old package and put it into new package bill, but any excess data will be charged as BDT 0.15+VAT per MB,or simply Tk.175 per GB..

They allocate a package as 30 or 31days data when you change the package.
Say you have a 12 GB package,if you want to change your package, first they break the package into 30 or 31 days data collection,
i.e. 12*1024=12288 MB which is divided by the number of days in the month. Say its november,so they make it as
    12288/30=410MB per day.
Now if you want to change after say 16th day, that is 16th November, they'll calculate it as
16*410=6560MB. That is the maximum data that'll not be charged, any data after that amount on
16th nov after the package change is counted towards excess data usage and will be charges as stated(0.15+VAT per MB).

Now they'll also divide the total bill by number of days and then calculate the bill till the day of change, say you change after 16th.
    so your 12GB package will cost you = (950/30)*16=BDT 507(without vat),so they'll release 950-507= BDT.443 and put that into
    the new package bill.
The catch is the excess data charge,if you have crossed the data usage, that extra won't merge into your new package and your
new package will also be divided into number of days wise and the remaining data will be left, like you move from 12GB to 6 GB ,so (6*1024)/30=205MB,
now after 16th the remaining is 6144-(16*205)=2864MB,so once you move to the new package after 16th,you'll get
only 2864MB usage and if you go over that limit before the end of the month, any data will be counted as excess usage as well.
The bill is also reduced by dividing and removing the days.

So if you have an extra usage then I suggest not to change your package yet.
Even though it seems that moving from 6GB to 12 GB might raise your usage limit by 6GB
but literally that is not so. How do I know? Well I suffered from this case and a lot of requesting,
crying(not literally) etc my bill was still the same and I had to pay the excess charge, but one good thing happened
from that, they introduced the new warning system, once you have less than 10% usage data left, they'll sms you about
    this.

About the changing, you can change as many times as you want,no limits on it,so far thats what I've been informed from the
    customer care unit.

    Thanks

Always glad to help. BTW,I moved to Blion, their billing system, usage accountability is 10x better than qubee and the speed seems to go beyond 70KB/s(eventhough my package is 512Kbps) everytime I download something, which is really nice. But the customer care unit is a bit poor, some customer reps are very nice and know their job while the rest are real cases of ID10T,hopefully that part will be improved too. The qubee billing system is a total mess and I have been receiving incorrect bill. Every incorrect bill costs me additional money to call 'em up and explain them whats going on and hopefully they correct within the deadline or things are kept like that and if I don't pay the excess my line is disconnected and hence call again, explain and get your line reactivated. So much pain....

    Thanks!

    Thanks again.

So far my experience with qubee is ok.It's true usage accountability kind of deteriorated but not to the point where I will be forced to leave them.Same applies for billing system.
