    I currently have these:

    500W PSU
    Dell S2240L
    2x4GB DDR3 (1333Mhz & 1600Mhz ) RAM
    1TB WD Blue HDD

No GPU at this moment as I don't need it because I won't be gaming anytime soon but If I can manage to get a GPU+CPU+MOBO in 40k that will be able to play GTA 5 @ 1080p at a decent Frame rate then I will be open to other suggestions as well.
Thanks Taher for your fast reply.
    Looking forward to your suggestions.

    i3+81 =14k

ssd in bd shops probably adata 120gb ~6.5k... but i think you can import ssd 240gb with ~8k. check BD price for 240gb ssd i think they are pretty high at 11k

    pro tips: change your psu.

    tt tr2 or cm gx2 psu ~3.3k

r7 370 15k, which is a quite good graphics card, gives you 40-55fps medium high graphics full hd.
gtx 950 is even better. but lord @VANGUARD yet to announce gigabyte gtx 950 price in BD.

    total ~40k

    config 2-
    i5+mobo 20k

    ssd 240gb 9k-11k from BD

    psu

+ more ram? or cheap r7 250 or gtx 750

    - - - Updated - - -

what processor and mobo you currently have? is your 1333 and 1600 rams working together fine? or giving you BSOD from time to time

Not quite sure about SSD prices here, but a 120gb one shouldn't really cost much. as for motherboard best combo at that price would be an i7 4790k along with an Asus z97-A or MSI Z97 G3 or G5.

Transcend and Adata costs from 5k to less for 120GB, but I'd say the money is spend better for 250GB ones. You can get those for 8.5k at minimum

Also @[email protected] bhai is bringing Samsung EVO SSD 250GB for 8.5k from abroad within next week.

Actually I currently have a pentium dual core processor and Gigabyte h61 .
and one of the pins of my current motherboard's CPU socket is broken and I was getting a bootloop and I thought my RAM is gone and I bought a 4GB 1600mhz ddr3 yesterday and then found out that the RAM was fine and CPU socket was broken.
These two should be usable with a good mobo by reducing the 1600mhz one to 1333mhz if not then I will buy another 1600mhz one and sell 1333mhz.

And I am not really looking for a i3 based desktop.
It would be preferable if the processor had a 4 core and 8 threads.
And yes I can import the SSD .
I don't know the pricing of processors and mobos in Bangladesh but to me they seems to be pretty expensive then the US pricing.

Is it possible to have a core i7 4790k & MSI z97 Gaming 5 under 40k without SSD in Bangladesh ?
Thanks for your suggestions about PSU , I will keep that in mind.

yes it is possible, but im not sure about the z97 gaming 5, but gaming 3 yes. as far as i know the price of that processor here is 27k and the motherboard would be 13-14k. and yes it'll be FAR cheaper if you get it from abroad so do try that option if you have it available. and 1333mhz RAM is preety slow stick to your current standard. and yes your budget for the processor and motherboard is rather high so no need to even consider an i5 let alone i3. get the haswell refresh cpu, it's preety much the best you can get at this point since it can outperform even then new skylake in some games.

Edit: you will need to change your psu if you get a mid end graphics card soon, but since you just need the cpu/mobo and ssd you don't really need to upgrade.

Actually I imported my current laptop (HP Spectre X360 4050CA) from Canada and the Shipping Fee was too much for me (550CAD for a 4.5 KG package via UPS) and I had to pay BDT 15k to the customs department as well.
So I try not to import heavy items from abroad because it would be same as BD pricing anyway .
@Ehsas Do you know any good stores in Dhaka who could ship those items to me via courier if I order via Phone ?
Thanks for the suggestions guys keep them coming .

ah by getting from abroad i meant just buying it from there, if you import through well any importer here, the price will still be 90tk to 95tk per dollar even though the actual rate is 77-78tk. and i know a way where you could do it yourself through a mail order service but it might be a little confusing for someone who hasn't done it before, so to play it safe you can just use the various importers already present here. the rate they'll charge is as i mentioned about 90-95tk. you can try @minitt here if you need to import the SSD or motherboard, reliable. however you won't need to import the processor, the i7 4790k is priced at 27k here which is actually good considering in the US it costs 26k(converted to bd currency) so don't import the processor. the pricing scale is very different for gpu's so you'd need to do it then, but not now.

Edit: you will need to change your psu if you get a mid end graphics card soon, but since you just need the cpu/mobo and ssd you don't really need to upgrade.
Yes without adding any GPU my current PSU will work great .
And I wanted to upgrade to 5820k but that will require a greater budget than my current budget which I can't afford at this moment .
So sticking to 4790k is best option for me now .

actually you could get the 5820k, if increase the budget slightly, it's around 31k here in bd. and for 19k you'd have to contact someone and see if they can import an x99 board for you since the cheapest here in dhaka is around 22-24k. an i7 4790k is still good though, you'd need the 5820k if you were streaming or rendering a lot.

just checked the prices, the msi gaming 5 costs 18.5k at computer source. check with minitt at how lower you can get it at if you import it. It's US price is 150 which would be 11.5k but you could probably get if you import at around 14k or so.

I can increase my budget slightly higher but I would need to upgrade my RAMs to DDR4 and most x99 Mobos doesn't has any onboard gpu.

motherboards don't have onboard gpu's. the processor does, it has one integrated. but yes you are right the i7 5820k does not have an igpu. and you'd need to get DDR4 ram as well. you should stick with the haswell refresh i guess. if you happen to have a relative in the US who'd get everything for you duty free then that's the only way really that you could get the 5820k build at that budget. but you won't probably need it's features though unless you're doing very cpu intensive tasks. for gaming and work the i7 4790k is perfect, different story if you're using autodesk maya or lumion or streaming constantly.

    I don't game at all .
But I have interest on watch dogs, assasins creed and gta 5 although I would be gaming more than 5 hrs a week but performance matters to me.
I will be doing some rendering and multitasking (chrome 20+tabs, outlook etc) and the most important part is that I don't shut down my computer , ever.
so it has to be reliable .
