Thread: Sudden Hard disk price surge1

Default Sudden Hard disk price surge1

    Any1 noticed this?

All portable hdds have gone up in price. Internal ones are almost scarce in the mkt.

I was after a TRANSCEND 1TB USB3 heavy jacketed one. Now that is up to freaking 10000BDT!

    Flood in Bangkok?
    International HDD syndicate?
    Production/supply route hamper?

Most importantly - when will price go down?

All three of them, though, for our country, it's basically greedy retards bumping the price up. They haven't gotten a HDD shipment yet. Situation expected to return to normal after may/jun of next year. Follow this discussion here,

Not a chance. The earliest you can expect this to happen is February, next year too.
