Golden Joysticks 2011: Best Sports Game announced
The Golden Joysticks 2011 Best Sports Game has been announced; EA's FIFA 11, which beats the competition to claim gaming's top prize.

Occupying the runners-up places in the Sports category are PES 2011 and fellow EA Sports title NHL 2011.
Golden Joysticks 2011: Best Racing Game - A controversial winner?
Aaaand... Gran Turismo 5 takes the trophy home as the Golden Joystick's Best Racing Game of 2011, with DiRT 3 as the runner up and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit speeding into third place.
Despite having the lowest Metacritic score of the three, Gran Turismo 5 still pulled out the win and as of February has sold over 6.37 million copies. Impressive.
Featuring over 1000 cars and over 70 course layouts, Gran Turismo 5 offered car enthusiasts plenty to sink their teeth into when the game eventually released November 24, 2010.
Golden Joysticks 2011: Best shooter winner - is it EA, MS or Activision?
The Golden Joystick Awards 2011 Best Shooter has been announced, and it's the money-printing Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The latest installment in Activision's behemoth FPS series quickly became the best selling UK game ever, and the public's voted it ahead of the last year's competition too.
Runners up places in the Shooter category went to likely Bungie's last 360 exclusive, Halo Reach and Crytek's sexy Crysis 2.
Golden Joysticks 2011: Best MMO goes to true genre titan
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm has been crowned the Golden Joystick 2011 MMO of the Year, which was sort of expected really. It is, after all, the biggest MMO in the world.
Released on December 7 2010, Cataclysm introduced thousands of new quests, new lands to explore and extensively revamped the world (of Warcraft), making it one of Blizzard's most ambitious expansions yet.
The game received large praise and big sales, selling over 4.7 million units in its first month of availability.
Golden Joysticks 2011: Strategy Game of the Year announced
The Golden Joystick Awards 2011 Strategy Game of the Year has been announced, and it's perhaps less-than-surprising that it's Blizzard's stellar StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty that's grabbed the gong.
Released last July and barely scraping into this year's voting window, the acclaimed RTS sequel quickly cleared 3 million units sold - and has undoubtedly moved on to much higher numbers since. Read more about the game in our StarCraft 2 review.
