Default Gears of War 3 review

well i have finished it...finally...honestly it was quite fighting with the xbox 360 it self...for some reason 360 freezes up massively & game stuck @ loading or doesn't progress or show the cutscene.....all of these solutions are the following:
    # eject the disk..clean or or cycle it by hand & re insert it
    # restart last checkpoint
    # restart last chapter

i am not going to make a huge review for it. so,here it's i am just going to say it....BEST SHOOTER OF THE YEAR..... that's it. best shooting franchise till now. yeah i know battlefield 3 will demolish it but,in the end eto strong story, gameplay no shooting game have ever come this far....mark finnix, dom, anya characters are never forgettable. hats of to the developer epic games for doing their best with the title's final franchise.
the ending was so touchy that i really cried watching it

You flashed your 360 from SOF, right? And did you download the game, or have the discs arrived?

really? i thought this was the best looking Gears game. the textures on the armour and stuff were way better than before, as well as the faces and facial animations. even the locust looked more detailed than before...
i mean sure it doesn't compare with say Uncharted 2 or 3, but still, i wouldn't say the graphics looked bad. not by far. in fact one game that does, is MW3. that engine has really gotten old. compare to Frostbite 2, and the difference is HUGE, and you don't even need a fancy 50" HDTV to tell...
wait - you can get on Live from BD? WTF? why did everyone tell me that's impossible? OMFG - all the missed racism, homophobia, tea-bagging and gloating! it's like i never had a 360 at all

best looking was gears 2. either that, or my led monitor cant show the true form of gears 3. could be sure if i had a bravia or something like that.

3 was definitely better looking because i replayed 1 and 2 before i got 3, so i know. the texture detail on the characters, and the faces are much better. environments and effects, not so much.

I played it too! And let me tell you, I had those same issues with freezing loading screens, but later I just installed it into the HDD! And it works flawlessly!!! And as for the game... Its freaking awesome, not that I am a gears fan and all. I mean everything from the story, gameplay and graphics are top notch!!!
Story wise, its an epic ending to the series!!! Gameplay is the same, which is great!!! Controls this time are a lot responsive! In terms of Graphics, this has to be the best unreal engine game 3.5 till now!!!

The praise worthy element is the lighting system,... its simply phenomenal!! This game also greatly utilizes motion blur, I felt that the game was running on 60fps! Texture wise, its okay but the lighting and motion blur steals the show!!!
I believe Gears of War 3 easily tops KIlLZONE 3 and Uncharted 2!!!

Ami ar game ta shesh korte parlamna, my save game has gone missing. Act 4 almost complete chilo, amar ar shomoi r dhorjo o nai purata khelar.

So far jototuku khelsi, the game has been disappointing in all levels. Story was never Gears' strongest suit, and their attempt to make it better was an epic failure at best. They forcefully and desperately tried to generate sympathy for the characters and ended up screwing the game over.

    big plot spoiler:
Akta jinish bujlam na, Marcus er baap beche ase, eta game er ato boro akta part yet etar upor emphasis ato kom chilo. Ar ja chilo pura hasshokor chilo. Baap beche ase so oitar dike aro bhalo bhabe progress na kore ki shob altu faltu mundane objectives diye game takke inflate korse. Bujlam or kase jaite onek koshto, but fuel collection, doing favors eigulai game ta noshto korse amar jonno.

Character backstory build up was uber lame. Cole er jei football 'vision' ta, oitar moto faltu sequence khubi kom e khelsi. It felt like a C grade drama movie, tao indian drama. Marcus ke to pura emotionless mone hoise, and thats only because emotion dite gese ora. Or baap beche ase, tar best friend morre gese and he brushes those off as if they were nothing. Etaki poor voice acting naki scriptwriting naki duitai ami janina, but their attempt was very lame

Unfortunately ebar gameplay o bhalo laglona. Gears 2 was amazing because it had a lot of variety when killing enemies. Etai notun kisu dekhlam na, more or less already seen in Gears 2. Ar hard e khelleo it was a breeze, enemy AI was lame, literally amar pashe dourai eshe cover nicchilo instead of killing me, wtf? The music was great but akta game e oita diye compensate korte parbena.

Overall a 7/10 from me. Amar grudge ta etai je they tried to go from an all-gameplay game to balance between story and game. It just wasn't fun for me

Yeah its a video game, gamings what GOW is mostly about and the campaign mode in the sequels aren't that fun as the first game was.
