p67 chipset: sata 6, usb 3, multiplier overclocking available on k series processors, limited overclocking available on non-k series processors, can be used with ram faster than 1333 mhz

h61 chipset: generally no sata 6, usb 3, multiplier overclocking not available on k, non-k series processors alike, ram speed tops out at 1333mhz

Obviously p67 would be far better choice. And besides a k series processor can be forced to use its unique potential using p67

then its simple, dont buy it in straight words.

cause if u dont have a overclockable processor then why would u buy a damaged overclockable mobo?

tell me one thing whats ur current mobo.

This limited overclock is also available on h67 chip-set mobo. so why not avoid this damaged mobo.

Vai faltu jinish mathae nio na, after market cooler nao ar "porer market" cooler nao i52300 cpu ar "H" Series chipset mobo (h61 or h67)dia tumi 3.1 ghz jete parba by turbo with out any overclocking.

karon eta to overclock e kora jae na.

as this processor doesn't allows u to modify clock multiplyer, u cant up it from 28.

with p67 mobo u can though overclock base clock to 105 (maximum) from 100.

which gives only speed up of (28*105) 2.94ghz from (28*100) 2.8ghz with out the turbo.

then with turbo it will be like 3.2-3.3 ghz at max.

so without oc 3.1 is much better rather than getting a p67 mobo to get only 180mhz speed up.

jodi tomar ae rokom kono dharona thake j h67 overclock kora jae h61 kora jae na, tai tumi 10k dia h67 niba instade of h61,

tahole boli j h61 ar h67 dui tai "bondha" mane oc kora jae na.

although h67 has other feature advantage over h61.

ar tomar kothar direct answaer holo h61 or h67 dia i5 2300 cpu te tumi max 3.18~ speed paba.
