How To: Counter Strike ???

Hey,
I have 'Counter Strike 1.6 No Steam' version. I want to play in a local server. The thing is, I dont know 'how' to connect to the server using CS 1.6...

So, How does one connect to a Server using CS 1.6 ?

u need the ip of the server and in the console type "connect (ip adress):27015" and press enter.....

Umm, you can play in Garena, TE.Creator posted it for Source, but it's the same for 1.6

Playing WC3 in Garena is hard enough, let alone CS...

There is no Console Type button... :S

who said? did u try it in CS? I'm playing CSS with Garena and my latency is only 8-20 ms...

I'm not playing in Garena, Lag or no Lag...Just don't like LAN Clients...

I just want to know how to make CS1.6 connect to a server...

not in this way, you have to connect using the console.

press ` (beside 1) in the keyboard and you will see the console window
then type "connect ip or server address"

the console is the thing that comes up when you press the 'tilde' (~) key.

the 'tilde' key is the one above 'tab' key.

in the console you have to type 'connect: {ip address of server}' or something, i've forgotten the exact command.

See I registered for Flame first but didnt recieve the activation email, so I had to make DragonFlame....Later when I recieved activation mail of Flame (1-2 day later) I started using it...

can anyone tell me if DC's 1.6 is off/on?i have been trying to connect to in his 1.6 server but no response.
