    Lightbulb NeverDead

It is surprisingly difficult to write about the upcoming game, NeverDead, without making terrible jokes and puns. You know the sort, “the main character of Bryce is falling apart”, or “Bryce often likes to lend a hand”. Yeah, they are terrible. But it is difficult to avoid them when the game in question’s most attractive feature is that the main character has the ability to remove his limbs and reattach them to other things.

Konami’s upcoming game, NeverDead, follows Bryce Boltzmann, a demon hunter that was cursed with immortality 500 years earlier. Thankfully, he took his cursing in stride, and with his perpetually annoyed partner, Arcadia, ever at his side and forced to listen to his wisecracking comments and centuries worth of stories, the duo are trying to hold back a demon invasion that has wiped out most of Bryce’s city.

Using the detachable limbs as both a combat element and puzzle solving tool (and for humor), you will fight back the demon hordes on PS3 and Xbox 360 later this Fall.

    NeverDead trailer is a mind-bending must-see

Busy looking at all of the shiny that came out of Tokyo Game Show last week? Never fear, we’ve still got some extra shiny bits and pieces to show you.

Right now, that’s a brand new trailer from NeverDead – and by “shiny”, we mean “featuring removable limbs”. There’s also demons, pop stars and a soundtrack from Megadeth, to boot.

    NeverDead dismembering January 31

Konami's demon-slaying third-person action game slated for release early next year on 360, PS3.

NeverDead, the dismemberment-heavy third-person action game from Kojima Productions veteran Shinta Nojiri, was first revealed during Konami's 2010 Electronic Entertainment Expo media briefing. News surrounding the game dried up until this year's E3, and now, the campy action adventure has a release date.

    Decapitation is encouraged, even necessary.

Konami announced today that NeverDead will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 31. That date is proving to be popular among Japanese publishers and their high-profile releases, as Namco Bandai's SoulCalibur V and Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII-2 are also scheduled for release on that day.

Developed in conjunction with Rebellion Software, NeverDead puts players in the shoes of Bryce Boltzmann, an immortal demon slayer that is prone to dismemberment. Getting into the enemy fray is encouraged here, as amputated body parts can be used to traverse previously inaccessible areas, utilized as weapons, or reattached to regain mobility.

The game will feature massively destructible environments and various modes of multiplayer, including cooperative and competitive play. Rebellion's recent releases include last year's Aliens vs. Predator and Rogue Warrior in 2009.

Rebellion never got it into their heads what their problem was with developing games, fun but with problems.Bunch of lazy douchebags are the reason why companies releases crappy quality games and get a lot in return.
