    Default why local torrents?

previously i used file hosting sites(like rs,mf,hf etc) for getting my downloads...now i mostly use torrents..mostly the pirate bay...now my question is,does the local torrent sites have any advantages over pirate bay?my max download speed is 45-50 kBps and from torrents i get max 42 kBps.

Well ISP's which are connected through BDIX can share file between themselves at a very good speed. For example a link3 user can transfer files with another link3/BDCOM/ISPROS user at about 200kb/s. Yes i mean kilobyte/sec.

So if another user has a file which i need, i just take it from him while i am using my own bandwidth to download something at the same time.

Post your speedtest result with dhaka server.

This is not my internet speed, but what I would get from local torrent servers.
