also 5.1 chere 2.1 ? I thought 5.1s e better in gaming/movies cause of the extra channels, the center speaker and the surround effect.

please correct me if im wrong cause im also trying to pick a sound card for my rig building.

sorry for OT but bro did you try out the MX6021? and did you try it with with a basic Sound Blaster and the fatality champion??

please do a comparison of these two setups. i think selling off the champion and falatily both and investing into a better set of speaker will ultimately give you a better sound experience. Or try out some sennheiser hd series just get a taste on what you might be missing with the MX6021.

again its just my suggestion. hope it helps. not trying to offend you or your decision.

    1. No i didn't try MX6021
    2. Yes I tried with the Normal Titanium & Fata1ty Champion Series & got 80% better sound. Not only me but @EyE SpeeD | A.B. also tried at my house & found the same diffrence.
    3. No I will be getting an MX6021 Anyway so i dont need to sell my Champion Series. I will buy an MX6021 & Maybe a Shure 440 too in ~2 months.

i think you misunderstood my post....i suggested to buy the SB live or something for the MX6021,or better yet,an asus Xonar DX,which by the is what im gonna use for my Z 5500.

I did try few creative X-fi setups with the Logitech Z5500 and also in Xonar. i must say the Xonar makes them sound more fuller. Also the real output sound difference is very little between the xonar essence and the xonar dx even in a Z5500. This is coming from a 3 year user of a denon AH-C700,Shure 440 and a Sony XB-700 which i recently bought.

still like iceman said, its your money and your rig.so goodluck, was just trying 2 help a fellow member,no offence......happy rig building :-D

    p.s.---no more OT from me
