    Default monitor or gpu problem?

my lcd monitor is acting weird recently..sometimes there are moving jagged lines visible on the display(horizontal)..sometimes there will be some wave like forms..as if water is running across the screen..also some 'jhirjhir' are visible...these things are also visible on boot screen...i connected an xtrnl tv card with the display..there was a blue screen(since i connected nothing else with the card) but i couldn't find any prob on the screen..but its still present when connected with the pc..so anyone knows what the prob is?
    its a samsung 733nw monitor..

If you have built in graphics card with motherboard then unplug your external graphics card and run the PC.
Then it would be clear either the gpu or monitor is faulty.
