    Default Repair GPU?

I have an XFX 9500GT that recently went bad. Now if I even put it in the PCI-E slot, my cpu refuses to boot. Even the cpu fan or the psu fan doesn't run. Since I'm in a bad financial position right now, I was wondering: is there any way the card could be repaired?

The card seems to be short circuiting the whole system when it's installed, I guess that's not a very good news for you, it's better to give up hope of repairing the card, save up some money and buy a new one.
