Depends on the person and the model of shaver used, some people like it and some dont. Ive got a Philips/Nivea HS8420 and it works great for me. While a regular wet shave is quicker, I can use this in the shower, its more or less comfortable, theres a skin gel dispenser and theres no risk of cutting the skin (sensitive and i tend to cut once in a while especially when shaving quickly). Charging takes an hour but it goes on for a few days.

edit: not that great if you plan to keep facial hair (moustache etc), better to get a trimmer along with the razor or get a regular wet shave

Depends on the model you are using and on the person too. Upore pore dekhle bujha jay karo karo bhalo lagse ar karo karo problem hoise.

Ekhon dekhi onnora ar kono comment kore naki brand/shop/price er bapare.

I don't own one myself. But I'm looking for the trimmers which they use in the saloons. They're too good!

Yes they are -- the standard ones are covered in protective brackets. Standard boltey - bhalo brand gula - PHILLIPS, NORELCO, etc. There are some very cheap travel shavers from Braun je gula-r rotating blade cuts. I got one as a gift but then threw it away.

Most good brands have round blades covered in metal brackets -- they won't cut u. If you have sensitive skin, ur skin is prone to burn after a clean-shave. keep in mind that automated, round, rotating blades cut more closely (and swiftly) from the skin as opposed to safety razors with straight-line blades. You will end up like a ছিলানো মুরগি, trade-off is some degree of discomfort.

    ---------- Post added at 13:57 ---------- Previous post was at 13:48 ----------

Trimmer is a miniature motorized blade or a series of blades intended for the cutting/designing of small hairs. Like beard/moustache (if want to re-shape ur goatie/moustache), sideburns, nose-hair, hair inside ear. Remember the fine lines in the Ghajini cut? Was done by a trimmer (probably) and a skilled barber.

A lot of the expensive PHILLIPS models come with a built-in trimmer - for side-burns.

There are also stand-alone trimmers from Panasonic, Phillips, etc.

If some1 is looking at TRANSCOM also look at SINGER and PANASONIC as they will have them sealed and new. If u go to Gulshan-2 circle, you will find TRANSCOM, Samsung, and aother showrooms; in Tejgaon SINGER, Krwan Bazar, Transcom and Motijheel Panasonic. U may also want to look at shops like Almaas (Gulsan 1, Bashundhara city).

For me - manual shave is much more better and comfortable than electric shaving. I use E-shaving when I am in a hurry.
