    Smile Workout equipments

    Hi,
I am pretty new to this and i was wondering can any of you tell me where i can buy dumbbells/barbells etc. from?

I don't have a clear idea about the price of these things. I heard that the stadium market is a good place to buy these kinds of things but i went to 2 different shops near Panthapath signal and the price difference was huge.

Another thing is is there something like a pull-up bar with a stand, i mean not the ones were you have to mount/drill it to the wall? If there is, than how much do these cost and where can i find them?

i was gonna recommed body & sports in panthapath, but since u already been there then ur best bet is stadium market. not sure bout the exact price but u'll get them cheap.

about pull up stand, never seen nything like that but there are certain bars that u dont have to drill, u just hang them by the door frame.

i say forget all these, just join a gym its gonna be cheaper and u'll have access to lots of other equipments as well

Thanks for the info and yes i have been to body & sports and they were the one with the higher price.
I am still hoping that someone here would actually know how much these things cost.

I actually did the math based on the prices of those 2 stores and with the registration cost+monthly bills, doing it at home is cheaper than joining a decent gym. I saw the 400tk/month gyms where you have to wait until the only 3 pair of dumbbells are not used by anyone.

stadium has 2 kinds of weights: Blue and Silver ones
Blue ones are TK.65/Kg and Silver ones are TK.90/Kg
and joining a gym is safer and better cause u would have to invest a lot of money on weights and equipment
such as bench, cables, barbells etc.
and with the help of spotters u get to lift more weights with forced reps

protein will not make ur workout any easier, protein is just a supplement for ur protein intake. muscle ache is a common phenomena for starters, u'll have to get over it naturally.

Proteins will help repair the muscles. Why do u ache after work-outs? You have used your muscles too much and their are microscopic tears in the muscle fibers. Whey protein is touted as quick repairers. Jekhaney apni kina 3-4 din sore thakten Whey tey ektu kom din sore thakben.

Aching is common phenomena but this will happen everytime you try a new type of exercise.

correct, but i wus trying to address a common misconception about proteins, that many buy it thinking it will improve their intensity, which protein is not made for rather they shud buy creatine or other supplements, is all

Go to Stadium Market. The shops there have mechanic for repair. Don't forget to bargain.
