    Default e5500 overclocking

this is why everyone loves the intel pentium dual core processors, they are so OC friendly.the stock clock for e5500 is 2.8ghz,but at this moment my cpu is running at 4.33ghz!!!btw im not using any water cooler or anything, its just an old intel cooler, not the stock cooler that came with this processor.the pc is running quite stable, without any trouble.

yah i know that..i could also do that with my PDC E6500(2.93ghz)....
but you should not do that for a long term without any aftermarket cooler//....your core temp is pretty high as it for idle....just check the cpu.that might be higher......

My idea here is get a Pentium D(Presscott) cooler..these coolers has a copper base...and also around 2.5" high....so these things can cool really well. and these can keep that 90C proc to around 65C-70C.

i am using one. coupled with a good TIM they rock. and costs around 400 taka

Post I have the same mobo and cpu....

Hello I tried to reach 4.2 GHz with FSB 343(max) and 12.5x multiplier, vcore 1.49, but all i get is BSOD after booting windows. I tried even 1.52 vcore but still the same problem. Before I was quite stable at 4.0 GHz . Also I have E5500 stock cooling and under p95 max temps reach till 82C and idle temps around 39C. Could anybody tell that Etar aage ki kore jaabo??
It Doesn't matter who does it,
    it matters how it's done...
