Default LED MONITOR with vga cable issues

I have bought a new Full HD led monitor philips 224el and i have three ports VGA,DVI and HDMI.

I have been using HDMI cable all these days but recently switched to VGA cable because now the hdmi cable is connected to my xbox 360.I use the same resolution as used in hdmi cable 1360x768 but now in the VGA display objects and things seem bigger??

and if i change the resolution the text gets blurry.

i have a not so good ati radeon 2400hd pro graphics card..

i dont seem to understand the problem................should i get a DVI cable???
