The N Routers available within your price range are Lite-N(150Mbps max.) routers actually. N-routers which are 300Mbps will cost more. It will depend on your needs, whether you should invest in an N-router or not. If you want to share immense files over yr network and given the fact that you have wireless N-certified devices at both the receiving and transmitting end, you 'll be able to take all the advantage of a wireless N capable router, or say you have a 300Mbps (which i believe you don 't) internet connection the N certified router will let your wireless device take the full advantage of your bandwidth.

In any other case a 150Mbps/300Mbps will not give you extra benefits and you can rather opt for a cheaper 54Mbps G-certified router (prolly arnd 1700 bucks). However, it would be wise to get the 741ND if you get it for the old price, the new price-point was set at 3500-3700.00 BDT, but you might still find them at the promotional price if any has some leftover from the old stock.

    Get the 150N...

N series has higher speed and longer range.....

do not get a G series router....you will eventually regret it...

and among the above 2...get the TP-Link one. I have used it and configured it...its the best at that price point.

Hmm, sounds interesting,I thought of getting a separate router but later thought I should get qubee tower. Anyways, I don't have any clue what brands are there so any suggestions? I don't have super fast lightening speed, nor do I need my neighbors doing packet sniffing from my router to get my passwords either so my requirements is average speed with a small range of say 3 rooms. I can assign any budget but I love buying second hand stuff, for the information, except my iPad none of my other devices have 802.11-N support so I think a/b/g might be good for me right? I like things as simple as possible so I don't need some super complex mod-the-hell-out-geeky type ones.

Thanks for all the time and effort.

Use a good and complex WPA2 key...that way it is going to be almost impossible to crack.

also now you dont have any n devices. but anything you buy now will have N Wifi....so n is the thing.

    and prices

    Below 3k
    TP-Link TL-WR741ND 150M Wireless-N Router

    3k-4k
    Netgear 150M around 3600

Hey thanks man! Okay so TP-Link TL-WR741ND sounds good and handsome too in its look except that ugly antenna thingy. So I found this from clickbd ->http://ow.ly/5WFTq

Good price and everything, but I got a bit confusion, like I use an USB(UH235) modem from qubee so thinking of bridging the qubee to my builtin-lan and then connecting that to TP-Link,but then again it will require my PC to be running whenever I want to access wi-fi & I don't even know if this will work or not.Anyone with this kind of experience?

Actually I am too lazy & whenever I look for these things in google I find pages filled with all kinds of irrelevant geeky junks instead of something that might be useful and I always feel like slapping all the posters there for posting stuff that seem like super encoded egyptian glyphs in tech-junk form. Well most of us know about this painful process but just a reminder so people doesn't think I am trying to be all parasitic and super lazy.

So I'll appreciate all the help I can get.

No it wont work. Ditch the USB model and get a Gigaset modem. Connect that to your router, configure it and you're done.

Yes, it will work like that, but as he said, the computer will have to remain on all the time in order to share the internet connection over the LAN.

Hey we are so close here, damn gonna meet you sometimes(hey am guy not gal so don't get excited!)

I used to be a member of numerous tech junk forums and blogs back in time & pretty much felt proud. I used to hangout in those famous hack-this-and-that,tweak-the-last-drop,review the latest linux release etc. Many of those forums went out in last few years, but I moved onto Linux and programming completely but then it started getting all boring. So one day I woke up and said enough is enough, am bored ,I have better things to do in life than learn and post threads with all kinds of technical stuff that might give any simpleton heart and brain attacks & trying to go to internet through several proxy and vpns added with Tor to stay anonymous. I have been a geek and my days were fine but I gave up. Its not that I don't read them anymore, its that I don't like them anymore. I just look things up and done!

Wow! Thanks for all the feedback & suggestions
I don't think that I want a gigaset,i.e. if I want a gigaset I better get a tower, but then again the cost is same. I think I'll do the bridging,so I won't have to dish out more money to Qubee. Thanks for all the effort though.
