    Default Need help in buying psu for new GPU

    I am confused abt buying the PSU ....

    Here is system --

    CPU - AMD Phenom 1090t 3.2 ghz
    Ram - G Skill 2x2gb 1600 mhz
    HDD - 250 gb and 1.5 tb samsung

    i am adding a NEW GPU --- Gigabyte 560 TI SOC

    Suggest some psu's around 5k

    A 600W psu will be nice.....
    you can get XFX Core Edition PRO 650W, its non-modular but is very goood.....and cheap about 8K..

    You won't get any good PSU for your GPU @5k :/

    Delta 500 ~6k / XFX PRO 550W ~6.5k would be the least for your PSU, I guess.

    560T er max TDP prolly 170w :S

    Gigabyte Superb series is not that good, you can go for either XFX 550W (6.2k), or Delta 500W (6k). The XFX one would be better.

    Delta 500W and XFX Pro 550W would be better. You will find these in IDB.

    if u wanna get 500w then delta 500w is the only option for you...but it is recommended to get better psu's....

    sorry for ot, i'm also planning to get a Gigabyte GTX560TI soc(after long time this is the card which impress me a lot and inshallah i'll get one), my question is would my current system spec is enough for this sweet beast?

    expecting some expert opinion..
    P.S.-as i bought my TT 500w Tr2 last month and its in tip top condition, so if its not too risky i don't want to change my psu, or do i have to? what do u think?

    I think you should change the PSU.

    New egg psu calculator diye hishab kore dekhlam...apnar result ashe 525w with new GTX 560Ti....ar apnar current gpu diye ashe 455w....so amar mone hoy ekta 650 or 600w er psu lagbe apnar....Xfx pro 650w or delta r gulao onek effecient...

    ar apnar rig power khaitese....amar current rig diye dekhlam 560Ti lagale 479w ashe....

    cholbe but for only a year or so then the psu will die. ur best bet is to sell ur 550ti with ur psu & buy a 650w

    @musvi , Allah Janen, 1ta single 6pin connector e chole emon 1ta card kivabe 150W Er beshi power tante pare, mobo highest 75W Supply dite pare, ar 6pin connector 75W, 1ta card kokhonoi mobo er 75W Limitation er pura ta use korena, around about 65W Porjonto mobo theke ney, so 65W plus 70W=135W Howa uchit, ami janina kivabe 1ta GTX 550Ti 150Wplus e idle ar load e 200Wplus draw kore, amar janar vul thakle kindly kew amake correct korun. (unless apner link er card ta 550Ti KFA2)
