Default Suggest a Full HD TV which is also good as a Computer Monitor

    Hi All,
I am planning to buy a 40 inch TV which has 1080p resolution. I am planning to use it as a computer monitor as well. So, very low response time is preferable. Any suggestion for a TV that serves my purpose (great if it has smart TV or internet TV functions)? I was thinking about Sony Bravia W600B, but saw in a YouTube video that it is very slow when it starts up, any comment?

Budget is around 50K. But can go around 60K+ if the TV offers really good bang for buck.

ami W800B 42" kinbo, cant wait for the 4k price to get cheaper.

    Does W800B have builtin wifi?

    and any shop suggestion

    - - - Updated - - -

I am sorry for hijacking the thread, dont want to open a similar thread.

but can any one give me any price and spec info about the W700c and W800b. both in 42" or 48".

It will be connected to a laptop, a server and mainly the Nvidia shield TV for streaming games from my gaming PC, and all the native half life (1-3) and doom 3 and other games on the android tv platform.

share ur hdtv as monitor experience

    - - - Updated - - -

i would not recommend smart or internet or wifi feature in a HDTV when it will be used as computer monitor.

But do buy smart TV if u have no other model that has better input. latency

I initially bought my HDTV for my bedroom but then noticed that it has a very good latency and started using it as monitor.

    Seconded on that @minitt

I dont need smart tv, dont even need internet connection (for firmware upgrade may be).
Need good panel, 42" to 48" size, good latency, good price, if good looking thats a bonus.

W600B, 700B, 800B. All have built in Wifi. They are very good looking. With good price. U may get some Samsung non smart at a cheaper price but they dnt have the same color depth. So get sony and think of the wifi as bonus

samsung f6400 offers great bang for your buck. It 3d tv with a dual core processor. The 40 inch version was priced at 75k a year ago. I'm assuming it has dropped within this time.
