    graphics card of current generation dont saturate a pci-e 2.0 x16 slot, dont think having pci e 3.0 will be necessary, unless amd is going big.. cant wait for it!

    Even the 590/6990 cant max the x16 bandwidth with room to spare..

    Might be useful at x4/x8 solutions though, remember that a new gen means double (or more) the bandwidth with the same number of lanes (x8/x16)
