But for that Do i need to have the same Bios in both cards...................

If so i've tried flashing my 7970's bios to R9280x VaporX bios several times from............
    Techpowerup's Bios collection
    But everytime it failed ..............

If same bios is not needed does it requires an external bridge??????????

However may b i've thrown away the External bridge connector by assuming of no need ..........

Is doing the crossfire worth it apart from 10/15 fps increse???????

Don't CF. Recent games hate it and AMD's multi-GPU tech is bad enough as it is.

personally I hate multi GPU thing, no matter if it is AMD or Nvidia, only a handful of games will run happily and the other games will either run like ¤¤¤¤ or cause some serious pain in the ¤¤¤!

If you really need more power you can just try selling your yours and get a high end single GPU.

just saying- maybe he is planning to buy 4k display within 500$ to play games at 4k... and if xfire work properly then he will be able to play games at 4k better than 290x with 280x xfire. we should give him a solution if we can.

If you already have those two and a 750W power supply (not thermaltake litepower) then go ahead and do it. If you want to do it for educational reason then go ahead. Otherwise it won't the worth the extra money spent of buying a new GPU, PSU and Casing fans.

Buy amd fury or fury nano, end of discussion.

buy newer card rather then CF/SLI of old cards. Better technology, less power cost, better efficiency, less risk (PSU/GPU both) (Warranty), less per year running cost.

I second what everyone's saying the nano should be around 550$ when it comes out consider selling your card and getting that. once dx12 comes out and everyone uses windows 10 the newer cards will be more effective than they are now.
