I never used Usb Tv tuner bt I think you might go for Aver Media Hybrid Volar or, Avermedia Volar Go USB. Both might be excellent among others in the market.

I use the Gadmei bought it 5 yrs back for tk1800. And it sucks. Tuning channels are such a pain. If you have hostile cable operators such as mine who doesnt wanna come and fix the cable every now and then for better signal it becomes impossible to watch TV peace fully.

I used Aver Media internal before that. It performed a little better because it had better tuning capability. But back then I lived else were and my cable operators were also nice people who helped me out a lot.

I would suggest Aver Media over Gadmei anyday. But I dont know if Aver Media is worth the 3x-4x price premium

I used Avermedia External Tuner several times and putting this one on top among other brands. All my tv card have been destroyed due to lightning and once inside board is damaged or burned it can't be retrieved as previous it was, so, it won't get fit on your screen, meaning you'll not get appropriate resolution as it came up with new one. Once I purchased KWorld and compared this with avermedia, I found the color is best on Avermedia. Kworld and even perfect tv card i tested on my lcd screen, the red color seems to be a kind of harsh. i think other brands excepts avermedia does not provide good color temperature. Now I am thinking to have a value top vt390 model bt who knows what kind of color it has. I am not worried abt cable connection at all as I have Airtel D2H.

Been using Encore External TV Tuner HDII since 2012. Bought for only 2k. Im very happy with it. Sadly, it is not being imported in BD anymore. It was an US product.

Is it better than Avermedia in terms of colors and signals? I can tell my uncle to send this if it is better enough.
