Thread: Where to buy PS4 or XB1 controller in Dhaka

Default Where to buy PS4 or XB1 controller in Dhaka

    People need some suggestions-

    1. Which controller is better (XB1 or PS4) for fighting games(MK series) and other games where controller is the better option? ( no hardcore gaming just general preference)

    2. Never used any kind of controller before. So considering comfort and other things (connection, durability, charge etc) which one is better.

    3. Where can I get them in BD and how much do they cost? How to know if they are genuine or not? Is there any chance to get warranty?

So give your suggestions here. ( DS4 is bluetooth connected and have no native support for pc but I read they are better in fighting games.)

I found this today https://www.daraz.com.bd/sony-ps4-du...lack-7112.html- how is this? Lot less than XB1 controller.

    Thanks in advance

    1. Both are good, depends on different individuals. I like PS4 better for the price/gaming experience ratio. PS4 priced somewhat 3-5k less than XB1 here in BD (in amazon it's the opposite). However, for those of us who also opt for modded consoles, PS4 seems difficult to mod than XB1, making you pay a lot for each games.

Here is a detail read to help you decide: http://www.techradar.com/news/gaming...tter-1127315/1

    2. Again depends, I like the dual analog sticks remained intact in PS4 and the dualshock 4 feature which gives a slight edge to its counterpart XB1. I also liked the touchpad feature which can act like a mouse in some cases, good for avid pc gamers.

    3. Call SOF @banani for price, availability. here are their number; 01676143991

    PS: If you can try to get it from US/UK as these consoles usually comes with 1 or 2 free games along with it, our desi sellers just like to keep the games for later to customers and thats a utter rip-off. There is a new Batman: Arkham Knight version of PS4 or with Tomb Raider Free Bundle with Batman. Its $400, making it clinical winner from its counter part XB1 However, with this price you get 1TB of storage in XB1 Halo: The Master Chief Collection 1TB Bundle compared to 500GB PS4. Here is how it looks;

MUST READ: Make sure you get a good voltage stabilizer along with these console, one of friend's got fried just after one month of use because of voltage spike.

    Hope it helps.

@Billybuoy , OP wanted suggestions about controllers. NOT THE CONSOLES!!!

@Foxtrol , I'd suggest using a generic controller first with x360ce application before investing such money. It'll help you create a basis for difference when you do buy the real ones. I can't suggest more than that since I don't own one. Maybe @aayman , @codename5302 or @[email protected] bro can help

Fair point. But still i will be needing two generic (ps layout and xb layout).
As I have never used any controller I think the one I get will become comfortable eventually. So it just comes to user opinion about my first point.

And where can I find these controllers(genuine) with good price in Dhaka or do i have to import?

although controllers from both of the consoles are very good to use, i prefer xbox 360 controller. i didnt use the xb1 controller but am assuming that will be the same experience of xb360 controller. my hands were very used to with ps controller layout but since i started using xb controller, i started liking that instantly. that doesnt mean ps controller is bad. just personal preference.

btw, if you like to play mkx or fighting games, why not buy an arcade stick? it is expensive but gives satisfying experience like old times.

I know about stick but I am not that serious (i mean just for one game). I will use the controller for other games too.

TBH I like the symmetric placement of the button and sticks on ps4 controller.

They sell the original ones? I am not sure because amazon price shows close to 4800 BDT (w/o shipping and others) where as they are asking BDT 4500 (ps4 controller).
