    Exclamation DVD Burnin issue! :S

So my here i was trying to burn some video files (.mkv) to a 8GB empty DVD. And as usual my first experience wasnt pretty

First things first i installed two softwares first, both cracked 1.DVD cloner 2.Nero Burning Rom 10.5

DVD cloner : no freakin idea how to use it or sure its for burning files from HDD to DVD..

Nero Burning Rom : Gotta admit, this software is pretty owsum specialy the feature called "secure disk" it has password protection and digital signature recognization any way i didnt post this thread to compliment this software -_- so here is the problem with this software ..
when ever i put my files on this software and insure all the settings and hit the "burn now" it burns about 2 % and than the disc ejects and and the process fails.. it heppens with secure disk or any other method.

Windows 7 built in burner : when i first put the disk it auto played and i hit burn files in to this drive it formatted the disc and i was ready to drag files on the disc. so for a test i dragged one file and put it on the disc it copied it with a stupid transfer speed of (700 - 800KB/s) when i get 20-30MB with a USB 2.0 flash drive..any way and for the experiment to success i took the disc and played it on another PC (XP) and i found the file and it played perfectly.. but here is the problem now when i re insert the DVD on the windows 7 PC it says i have 0% space left where i only put 190MB file on a 8.2 something Disc. and now i cant burn anything by draggin it down or whatsoever ...so yeah ANY HELP GUYS!!!

Its maybe the dvd media wich you are using either damaged or faulty. Try to burn on a single layer dvd first and see if it works. Nero is ftw all the way, dnt use windows built in burner, it sucks.

Maybe Windows closed the DVD after it was finished burning, that would explain why you can't write anything else to it.

well you just want to burn file then use a simple method like

First split your file (as and if necessary)
    Then make those file ISO
Finally use IMG burn to writer the ISO file in ur disk

You should not face any problem in this way if ur hardware are working properly

No unless it is rewritable dvd. Bytheway dual layer dvds ar kinda two 4.7gb dvds in one. And i never said ur files are faulty, i said ur dvds maybe of low quality or damaged.

    I've never written a DVD of 8GB size :S
I used to write movies in 4.7GB sized disk, using Nero.
Open Nero, write as data disk.
