Default LA noire disc 2 Crashes!

I bought my LA noire discs from Nadim Electronics, this past week. But after I reach disc 2, " The golden Butterfly", the game constantly crashes or should I say freezes! I even installed it, but nothing!!! I even changed the discs twice from their shop, but no luck!!! It still crashes every five minutes on disc 2.

Disc 1 worked flawlessly, even my other games work perfectly no crashes whatsoever. So I assume this is not a hardware issue! Have any one had this issue? What should I do?!!!

I had the same problem, but my disc froze only when I entered the high school on the case Golden Butterfly, now to make the game work, you can try clearing xbox 360 cache, after that restart your console and start the game and see if you have any luck. For me I cleared my cache and also changed my disc and it worked for me.

I played the whole game never had any crash and dont fret it has nothing to the hardware. The reason for ur issue could be the broken partition of the game as the leak of LA Noire disk 2 and disc 3 had its partition broken due to a rush in release which was later fixed by a patch/hotfix. What u can do is to swap that faulty disc with a working disc from the shop.

YUP! Disc 2 has some 40's female singer, with a jazz band on the background! Why do you ask? And yes it kinda freezes anywhere specially when going to that High School! It freezes in the middle of the road.

It seems that I may have to wait for the PC version!

    Solution:
    1.Clear your system cache.
    2.Reboot your 360
3.make ur partner drive to the high school and after finding and inpecting the clues dont go straight for the phone or the car.......just go to the car in a circle then u'll get ur message from KGPL and make ur partner drive.......****dont drivee***........

Awesome post! It worked. I did the following,

    1. Cleared system cache.
    2. Reboot 360.
    3. Completed all other tasks of the case before going to Belmont High School.
    4. Make my partner drive there, I didn't drive.
    5. After investigating the scene, I did not go to the car or the phone booth.
    6. I rather crossed the field, went up to the road and called KPCL from a public phone booth.
    7. Then I took a car from the road, left my partner behind, did not go back to Belmont to pick him up.
    8. I drove to the Central and everything was fine.

    Amazing post. Thanks a lot
