The one that dee suggested is better than the one you were planning to go for, besides whats with the 3 ram sticks, i5's or any other P55 platform processor does not have triple channel memory for that matter

    Processor - Intel Core i5 2300 16k
    MOBO - Gigabyte H61M 6K
    HDD - Samsung F3 500GB 3.4k
    GPU - Sapphire ATI 5830 extreme 10.2k
    RAM - Twinmos 4GB DDR3 1333MHz with piano black hitsink 3.3k
    PSU - Delta 500 watt 5.5k

    Total 44.4k

Suggest him to increase his budget about 2.5k to have a great processor. If he cant increase his budget then tell him to go for the config given below -

    Processor - Intel Core i3 2100 10.2k (Remember even though it's a core i3 processor but still it's a great budget processor)
    MOBO - Gigabyte H61M 6K
    HDD - Samsung F3 1 TB 4. 7k
    GPU - Sapphire ATI 5830 extreme 10.2k
    RAM - Twinmos 4GB DDR3 1333MHz with piano black hitsink 3.3k
    PSU - Delta 500 watt 5.5k

    Total 39.9k

6790 is better. But I would recommend 6850 if you could stretch your budget a bit .

Arif69 has recommended a pretty decent spec pc. Umm I do suggest however to get a 6850 over the 5830.

getting a last gen i5 is not a good idea at this moment. get a SB i5 2400/2300 instead or even i3 2100 which easily destrys i5 750/phenom 955..if you are on a tight budget get @Arif69 bro's 2nd config...

Thanks a million to all your replies!
but what about the radeon 5770? is this a good card or should i go for the 5830 or 6850?
Nd found it quite impossible to find an AMD processor in chittagong while the i3 2100 has two cores....nd i was really lookin 4ward to a 4 core processor....so how about i go 4 an i5 2300 as suggested by @Arif69 bhai nd go for a cheaper 5770...i only wanna play modern games on 1025x768 res (stupid monitor) nd dont really need that much eye-candy...
    thnx agen

Pleasure to help.Actually 5830 extreme is more faster & cheaper than 5770.How did you found 5770 is more cheaper .If you can find cheaper 5770 then you can go for it.I would say going any cheaper card than 5830 extreme is a waste of money if anyone buy gfx card card like GTS 450 (9.5K), 6670 (9.5k) etc. This card doesn't worth that kind of money also over priced. But if somehow you can't exceed your budget than 42k & you want to buy core I5 2300 then you can go for cheaper gfx card, psu, hdd. My recommendation to you is to increase your budget & go for both 5830 extreme,Core i5 2300.Also try to upgrade your monitor later cause 15 inch monitor is backdated this days plus if you use it you will not be able make the full potential use of your processor & gpu.

Ok, now im revivin this old thread again cuz my o'level results r out nd i can finally get to buyin that computer.....ive reviewed the spec im gonna buy after this researchin this whole month nd so ive decided:

    CPU- Core i5-2300----------15,500
    MoBo- MSI H61M-E33----------5,900
    GPU- Sapphire 6850---------16,000
    HDD- Samsung F3 500GB------3,300
    RAM- 2x2GB DDR3-------------3,000
    PSU- Delta 500W--------------6,000
    Casing- (something)-----------2,000
    ________________________________
    Total------------------------52,000

So wat do u guys think about this one??

Also i had a question, do the graphics cards in bangladesh come with VGA adapters cuz mine is D-SUB so i was wonderin....they come with in other countries, but since bangladesh has a tendency to make stuff disappear, it was worth askin..

    Mentioning @Dee , @Arif69 bhai, @@nonymous nd @error for some help,

16GB at 6k seems nice, can you get me some links ? Or I guess it would be 2x4GB ?

Since you have a budget of 42k, & 2x2GB DDR3 1333MHz are 2.4K, so if you go with @Dee 's suggestion...you can easily get an ECS GTX560 which will be sth around 15k!
