    Question Laptop within 55k

Hey evrey1, I'm new in this forum. Just need some help with buying a new laptop.

    Requirements are:
    #Price within 55k
    #Best performance within this range
    #Great battery life
#Good enough for the next 1.5-2 years
    #Processor: core i3/i5
#Graphic: dedicated video card (nvidia or ati)
    #Display: 14"/15"

I need this laptop not only for general purpose but also for gaming for next 2years. I'm stuck with the decision to chose the right processor. need some help with the previous generation and 2nd generation core series.
my preferable brand is Dell & Asus.

plz help me. you may comment outside of my requirements to assist me to get a right decision. Thank you.

I'm afraid that dedicated GPU in 55k would be tough :S

I bought a laptop last month.

    Dell 14R 4110 with i5 2410M @ 54k.
You'll get the same lappy with dedicated GPU @60~62k.

I've seen that laptop with nvidia GT525M . it was my 1st choice. but i think the price is too high..
that's why I'm searching for any other. I just want to know which processor is the best. can't measure the performance of the previous generation with the 2nd generation (lyk is it worthwhile 2 buy a 2nd generation i3 rather then previous i5)
ASUS is using the previous one where dell is using the 2nd. nd that's why their price is much higher then asus.

last 2 qus about your laptop....what will be your rating on it??.......nd if i want to buy this 1 with dedicated gpu is it possible to get it with 14" display (cause i've seen this with 15.6". nd the arrow keys are too small in 15.6")

    Thank u...

DELL is better than ASUS in terms of these mid-range laptop, IMO.
And when I was buying[it's for my elder sis], I saw the same 14R 4110 which was with the 1st gen i5 460M or prolly the 480M [2.66GHz] but the 2nd gen[2410M - 2.3GHz] cost like 1~2k more than the 1st gen.
So I took the expensive one :/

About the rating, I don't like laptops TBH.My budget CPU is like 5 times better than that laptop.
Laptops are for serious people/students/show offers.
And 14R laptops are all 14 inch.
    15Rs are 15inch+

So you can get that 14 inch laptop.

I also don't like laptops. it's not even close to a desktop for gaming. But now it's necessary for my study purpose. that's why i'm planing for it......
Thanks for your comments . May be i'll go for that 1.

Bro check this out http://ark.intel.com/Compare.aspx?ids=52952,52224, .i think they both are nearly very good cpu. they are enough for what you want to do with them. I thing ASUS is better as they are giving 2 year warranty.
