i've been into programming for 3 years now
specifically PHP, HTML, MySQL, CSS and recently .NET and SQL Server
i'm very weak at object-oriented concept (.NET)
and i'd like to learn object-orientation programming from the basic
are there any institutes in BD u ppl no of might be good for such purpose?
btw, commercial learning centers like New Horizon sucks

Buy/Download Ivor Horton's J2SE book. Read first few chapters to understand OOP concepts. Should be pretty easy and should not take more than 10 days if you are in to programming for 3 years.
Then get your hands dirty with Java/.NET.

    i recomend the CvP method....

you should learn programming by yourself...if you really want to learn..and work on a project....this will help you learn

coaching and stuff will only teach you some stuff....you gain some knowledge by this...but you will truly learn a language if you work on a project and learn by yourself...

For OOPL, I think you can start with Java.
Here is a good book to start with : Java How to Program by Deitel Deitel

    Here,
    i. The Complete Reference C#3.5 by Herb Schildt
ii. C# for Programmers by Deitel
C# follows advanced OOP concepts than Java / Cpp. It doesn't sound a good idea to jump on C# without having clear enough concept regarding OOP, vai. First begin with Cpp or Java. You will find less complexity to learn these instead of C#. However, after having the OOP concept in your grasp, I bet, C# would appear to be more ease than now.

best help is self help. I suggest you to try java. my favorite OOP. also use a basic ide first. e.g. jcreator. after you learn basic stuffs, move on to netbeans.

Or you could use MinGW. I'm no C++ expert though so I don't know how well that fares against VCC.

Try to use Visual Studio if you're into C/CPP/C#. You certainly won't find any other better alternative IDE that offers these much handy features. You can even build compilers with it if you're familiar with regular expressions.
