To me brand is not a great issue. Find the brand which cost least, which has a better cooler. U can easily overclock yourself. Here u can find some members who will tell u to stay away from XFX. Well, XFX nvidia 8xxx series had issues, but XFX ati gpus are ok. I have used 3 XFX graphics card and i have nothing to say wrong about XFX. In BD i don't think u will get the MSI Hawk edition. BTW, there are some nvidia gtx XFX 460 GPUs in BD, stay away from them, because XFX has stopped making graphics cards with Nvidia chips and their origin is unclear.

Why not consider gtx 560 ti msi hawxk edition, hd 6870 is similar to gtx 460 1gb oc, at stable speed 6870 would get 5 extra fps than gtx 460, but gtx 560 ti gets nearly 9 more fps than gtx 460 and slighty faster than hd 6870, but bro u have to mention your full specification sepecially the cpu cuz a weak cpu may bottleneck your mighty gfx. So consider it

I have no compains about XFX cards but Sapphire cards have a really thin & weak PCB & the components in sapphire cards are weak compared to xfx ( I'm talking about custom sapphire cards ) even @Dee had problems with his sapphire HD 5750. Last of all the XFX 460s are Nvidia refrence cards with only xfx packaging & sticker. I would suggest if ur getting a 460 then go for ASUS 460 DirectCu or MSI 460/560 Twinfozr II edition. If ur going for 6850/6870 then go for XFX or ASUS.

I would buy the MSI one.

I would be better if you wait and buy the MSI GTX 560Ti

Who said that 5 series cards aren't stable?

    Lemme clear everything again.

    Asus - Better Cooling.
    Gigabyte - Better Durability.
    Sapphire - Better Class.
    MSI - Pre OCed/Better Cooling/Better Class.
XFX - I Dunno :/ Better Crap? No offence.
EVGA - BEST but not available in BD.

And 560Ti is coming this month or in next month.
    Price should be like ~20/22k.

BTW, what's the current price of 6870?

Wrong lemme clear it up as i have both side experience :-
Asus - Better Cooling + Best Overclocker / Class B
Gigabyte - Not bad but Gigabyte custom cards Suck (trust me on this)
    Sapphire - Weak PCB / Class D
MSI - Don't know but from reviews I got to know it has good cooling & Overclocking abitly
XFX - Good cards / Good OC ability / Better PCB than Giga/Sapphire
    EVGA - Don't know

    Heres a list of cards which i tested/Used/Using :-
Gigabyte Custom 5870 Windforce 2x (Tested)
    Gigabyte 5970 (Tested)
    Sapphire 6870 (Used)
    Sapphire 6850 (Using)
ASUS GTX DirectCu 460 TOP 1GB x2 (Using)
    XFX 4870 XXX (Used)
    XFX 5850 BE (Used)

Sapphire is not a bad brand but BD tey khubi baje quality product ane sapphire er compared to XFX.
If ur buying a reference/non-custom cooling/PCB card then brand wont matter much.

Valo prblem e felailen vailog. Now get straight to msi and gigabyte. Msi has better cooling , but it comes with 775 mhz, though it is a good card for oc. Other hand , GB card comes with 815 mhz, wf 2 cooling, not bad in oc.also GB has durability issues. Now tell which with b the best. Msi hawk hoile ekta kotha chilo. Kintu hawk to bd te nai.

    EVGA - Don't know
Are you making up these classes or you got to know them from what is written on the PCB?

In my Experience, I've seen most of the xFx cards dying after warranty period..
Gigabyte, Sapphire cards have been good for me..
I've seen MSI cards dying also but also heard that they are good so I'm confused about MSI cards.
Asus cards are generally overpriced so didn't go for it..

EVGA cards are considered best nvidia cards but not available in BD.

I suggest go for the Gigabyte card or if you go for ATI cards you can go for Sapphire cards also they are quite good

Yap. I was also thinking abt GB soc for 460. This card sounds better frm other manufacturer. Price is also worthy.
