Question What New ADSL Price You Expect From BTCL?

    Title says everything:

It's 1st of July and there's no GOOD news for ADSL users! Maybe next month!?

It's been few months, still BTCL people are working on it, hope they finish their official works and publish the new price/charge/rate for ADSL users as soon as possible.

So, what new price do you expect from BTCL? How much price/charge they should set?

Should they reduce charge of ADSL by 50%
    Or
Should they DOUBLE the BANDWIDTH and USAGE limit?
    Or
    Both?

What do you think? Please every ADSL user reply your comments here and state your own expected price!

If they double the bandwidth a lot of users won't get any advantages. Copper cabling is easily their biggest weakness. Reducing bandwidth charges is a step that would benefit everyone.

If they reduce their charges like cut them into half, it would be great!

But is their any chance of doing that? :S

getting 1mbps for 1500 will e awesome.....so halving the price is best...and they also should introduce a 2 mbps line for may be 2250...

4Mbps? Age dekho toamr line diye 2Mbps pao naki. I'm pretty sure it's the price only that will decrease. Bandwidth will not increase due to technical limitations.

because bangladesh-e as you know bandwidth kinte oenk taka lage. Ar amader-re 2mbps-er line dile amra fataiye download dibo sharadin. With a 2mbps line, you can download something close around 20gig a day. thats like 600gb a month. Ar amader isp-der eirokom BW kinte ONEK taka lagbe.

We need to find a common ground between isps and users.
i take it je 60gb a month is a cap which works preety well. With a 1000tk addition of another 60gb would be sweet. We can download 120gig a month for 2500tk on a 2mbps line.

    Think about it.
NO ONE would give you a 1mbps line ,let alone a 2mbps one :\, and let you go trigger happy on the downloads. 300gig a month is a ¤¤¤¤ lot of bandwidth for the isps to give it to you for free.

So my 2mbps with a 60gig limit and additional 1000tk for every 60 gig you need (excluding the initial 60 gig). YOu can pay for more bandwidth if you need more.

IMO i need something like 100gig of downloads. so i think 2500tk would be more than enough for me to download my usual stuff without the ISP's reducing my speed or disconnecting my line just because i download the whole day.

Canadai i paid 30$ for a 10mbps line on a bandwidth of 60gig. So this deal doesnt sound that bad to me. With a 10mbps line, you would know je koto fast tomar bandwidth jaite pare. And i paid 5$ for additional 30gigs of bandwidth.

So i'd kiss my isp if they ever tell me about this deal.

Ei shob proposal diye labh nai. There's nobody who'd listen. And I guess you're from Canada, that's why you're used to download caps. Canada has horribly restrictive internet. It's Europe and Japan that has broadband done right.
