GTX460 can handle most games at 1920X1080 at high settings. At your resolution, it will totally blow away anything you throw at it. Go ahead and buy it, you won't have to change your GPU for the next 2-3 years.

yes in that resolution any modern game should be maxed out(full detail settings) with the GTX 460.

my screen resolution is also the same and i can play some game on high detail even with my HD 5670.

one gtx460 is more than capable of running any of todays games... however two would be excellent and the maximum resolution on both one and two cards is 2560x1600(digital) and 2048x1536 (vga )
however these kinds of resolutions are only found in 32" and above monitors... below this size you normally find a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 .... which to be honest is a brilliant resolution for todays pc games
one major factor when running games at high resolution is video memory... the more the better,,, and with a total of 2gb over the two gtx460,s you should have no problems... and with a 256bit memory interface on the 1gb models(192bit memory interface on the 768mb models ) this will also help when running games at higher resolutions

gtx460 will definitly be an overkill for 1366x768, i suggest you to go for gts450 if ur a nvidia fan and want physics or amd hd5750 if you want to play all games at highest possible settings.

Buy GTX 460 and run games in highest details with tension free for the upcoming 2,3 years .But if you want to buy a card for less then you can for 5770,6770,6790,GTX 550 ti,5830 extreme. But please don't go for GTS 450,ATI 5670,6670,5750.This cards are overpriced & price performance ration isn't also good..
